So another trip to Earth, huh? It's like Paradia's favourite vacation spot. There's something I've been wondering since we visited that Sandyaygo place, me and Ted noticed it and it's pretty weird to us. What's with your buildings? Why are they so plain and boring?

I mean, there are no doors on the second floor just leading out into space. No fancy outside staircases joining windows on different floors, no ledges that go nowhere. You guys do know there are shapes other than squares and rectangles, right? Where's your sense of imagination and fun?

My guess would be most builders don't want their buildings collapsing or people falling out of them.

Well, there's one house I know of that's kind of like that.

I've heard a lot of different stories but basically there was this rich woman who kind of went crazy after her family died and she went to see a fortune teller who told her she should build a new house and never stop, so that the evil spirits that killed her family would never get her. So there's like, doorways that open up into nothing, and staircases that lead nowhere, and secret doors inside cabinets and things like that.

You should see Hogwarts. That building has moving staircases and hidden doorways everywhere.

Exactly! They're just so boring and predictable. You need a little more variety in your structures.

When you live in a city that is as populated as Tokyo, there's lot a lot of free space. Homes have to fit a certain size or shape, unless you want to pay a ridiculous amount of money.

Huh, I have noticed a lot of people here. You'd think they'd have more suburbs or something. Or do what I did with Thneedville and just build up.
