Open Post: Hogsmeade

[it's Saturday, so it's time to kick back and enjoy the lovely sights of Hogsmeade. Have a drink at the Three Broomsticks, grab some sweets from Honeydukes, or dare to check out the famously haunted Shrieking Shack! Just kick back and enjoy yourselves today!

This is technically only open to third years and above, but if you can sneak out without teachers noticing more power to you!]

[holy crap look at all of this

Chihiro feels that she should probably try a little bit of everything (that looks good anyway) but some of these things...

She's currently got a basket with a couple of things in it and is... staring in wonder at the cockroash clusters, wondering if anyone actually eats them. Gross!]

[Where else would a first-year sneaking out to Hogsmeade go first than a sweet shop? Chihiro might catch a brief glimpse of a very familiar looking young girl before Rise notices her.

There's a small pause as Rise's brain struggles to process the much taller girl being adorable little Chihiro, but then she gives an excited wave.]

Heeey, Chihiro-chan~!

[She seems to have forgotten the possibility of altered memories, or just doesn't care, as she rushes over to greet her friend. Right up in her personal space, as always, but this time she's barely up to Chihiro's chest and smiling up at her.]

[Chihiro jumps a little when she hears her name but turns around and--]

Eh?

[who the heck is this little munchkin? She looks familiar and obviously knows her but...]

Um...

[...hey wait a goshdarn minute]

Ah!! Rise-san?! Is that you?!

[Rise starts to blush a little, wondering if maybe she should have expected someone not to recognize her? ... Then again, if it turned out Chihiro had different memories, it might have been even more confusing. This world change is pretty crazy!]

Yeah, it's me! [Still blushing a bit, she glances off to the side and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.] I know I look a little different... I'm a first-year student here.

[Which means she's technically not even allowed out here. But she doesn't have two years to wait before everyone goes back to Paradisa!]

A first year...? I see... so the castle made you younger.... [awww cute

...NO WAIT HOLD ON THAT'S NOT OKAY]

W-Wait...! If you're a first year that means you're not supposed to be here!

[See that P on Chihiro's robes yet Rise? You snuck out and then went straight up to a prefect WAY TO GO]

[Wait, is she really going to take that seriously?! Even though she remembers Paradisa?]

It's okay, though, right? I mean... I'm really older than I look, and we only have a week here!

[Don't make her use her adorable puppy-dog eyes at you, Chihiro! There's already a subtle mewling tone in her voice... partially put-on as it is.]

But... I-I'm a prefect... I have to keep people out of trouble... and I think we could lose house points...

[Chihiro's been trying to take this super seriously ok, she wants to make Ishimaru proud]

[she pauses and thinks for a while though. Because Rise does have a good point...]

Mmm...

Well... since you're here any way...

All right, I'll allow it. But only on the condition that I chaperone you from here on out- since I'm a prefect, I think that'll be okay!

[Rise starts to get a little worried as Chihiro takes a moment to think. She doesn't want to get in trouble, or cause any problems.

But when Chihiro says she'll allow it, Rise beams up at her and suddenly hugs her tightly.]

Oh, thank you~!

[Because yes, it really is that big a deal to Rise right now. She's still smiling brightly as she pulls away.]

I promise I'll stick with you the whole time, Chihiro-neechan!

[The "big sister" part is meant as a lighthearted joke, and she winks for emphasis. But she sounds totally sincere. Because she is. She's perfectly okay with letting Chihiro chaperone her visit.]

N-Nee-chan...

[even though she knows Rise is joking, there's something about her expression right now... as if there was something about being called "Nee-chan" that really bothered her]

Hey, Rise-san, um...

[but it's not like she can just... TELL Rise why it bugs her or what she'd rather be called...]

[...ah!]

Why don't you call me A... "Aneki" instead?

[BECAUSE SHE'S T O U G H!!]

[Oh no, did she say something wrong again? She thought the "neechan" suffix could be something they could both laugh about... not that it would bother her.

But she brightens up again and giggles at Chihiro's suggestion. So she is okay with the big sister teasing! She just wants her to use a different term. Makes sense, since she's a prefect, and all... even if it is a bit strange in general.]

Sure... Aneki!

[Better get used to that Chihiro, because she'll be calling you that for the rest of the world change now. ~~At least she won't keep doing it afterwards like she did with Utena... that was a special case.~~]

[Of course, if Chihiro gets to ask Rise to call her something else...]

... But you have to call me "Rise-chan"!

[She smirks mischievously at Chihiro. ... Not that she'll do anything if Chihiro doesn't. But she's been waiting to see when Chihiro would finally relax more around her, and now seems like a good time to poke at her and see what happens! If she can't call her "Rise-chan" while she looks like this... maybe she just really is that polite. Rise can deal with that.]

H-Huh?

[she fidgets a little, looking away. Well... that shouldn't be too hard since she does... appear much younger now? And her own request was a weird one...]

Um... o-okay... R-Rise-chan...

[Success! Rise may have given a tiny little victory squeal as she beams up at Chihiro again. Just look at how happy a simple honorific makes her, Chihiro!]

See? It's not so bad, is it, Chi- um, aneki?

[She still doesn't know why Chihiro wouldn't address her more familiarly before. But it must not have been that important if she agreed to now! Even if she still seems a bit awkward about it... maybe she'll get used to it before the world change ends?

Also, Chihiro better be prepared to have a tiny Rise clinging to her arm, because... yeah. She's latched on tight now. A promise is a promise, and she's going to stick close to her chaperone from now on!]

[she smiles] ...Heheh. I guess it's not...

So um... R-Rise-chan... you're here to get candy then right? Anything that catches your eye?

[she might buy you some like a good older sibling sshhh don't tell]

I dunno... there's a lot of things here! I don't think we can try them all...

[They could try, but that's a lot of candy to eat in a week. Besides, some things look kind of strange...]

The Sugar Quills and those Snow Flake things sound good, though! And I think there's something chocolate with strawberry filling...?

[Obviously going right for the really super-sweet sounding stuff...]

[who says they couldn't just sneak the candy back to Para? B) That's what Chihiro is planning on doing hell yeah mother fuckers]

Hmm... how about I grab you a few sugar quills with mine then as my treat?

Really? You'd do that?

[That's so nice of her! And Rise probably came totally unprepared for shopping in the first place, so she wasn't even sure she'd be able to get anything before...

So she's totally looking up at the currently-older girl with sparkles in her eyes right now.]

Mmhmm! [oh it's kind of nice... having someone look up to her that way for a change instead of the other way around...]

A-Any good... aneki would after all..

[Oh my gosh, she's so cute! She was cute when she was younger than Rise, too, but...

... She can't help herself. Suddenly, she hugs Chihiro tightly, leaning her head on the other girl's chest. Sure, buying candy is a small gesture, but Chihiro just seems so kind and caring! She had to show appreciation somehow!]

Thank you! You're really nice... aneki.

[Every other time, she's been kind of teasing, but she says it totally sincerely this time. She's so sweet... Rise won't mind letting Chihiro be her big sister for a while, at all! Before she goes back to normal and the roles reverse again.

Pulling away from the hug, she resumes clinging to Chihiro's arm. Like a good little sister, sticking with the older girl.]
