[it's Saturday, so it's time to kick back and enjoy the lovely sights of Hogsmeade. Have a drink at the Three Broomsticks, grab some sweets from Honeydukes, or dare to check out the famously haunted Shrieking Shack! Just kick back and enjoy yourselves today!

This is technically only open to third years and above, but if you can sneak out without teachers noticing more power to you!]

Honeyduke's Sweet Shop

[you have some delicious candies waiting for you here! Chocolate Frogs and Sugar Quills seem harmless enough, but who would even buy an acid pop or Cockroach Cluster? And when they say "every flavor" for Bertie Botts, they mean it!]

[Percy is completely lost in almost all of his classes except Muggle Studies. But this is one thing he can understand and get behind. He's sucking on a Sugar Quill while browsing around for more snacks]

Never had them before but they're really good. [he picks up some Ice Mice] Are these any good?

[Ohjiro is talking a walk through Honeydukes, looking over some of the rather curious candies. He's carrying some of the safer ones- like the chocolate wand and toffees, while Wizard was sitting on his shoulder holding a Sugar Quill. The place certainly had quite a selection, as odd as many of them might be.]

[Chie was at the shop, already with a big bag of sweets in hand, which she's trying to hide in her loose robe sleeves, but it's not working. The bag is too large!]

Sheesh, I should have brought my bag...!

[Ohjiro glanced up when he heard Chie, he and Wizard turning their heads to face her. Ohjiro would smile, partially amused by her attempts to hide the bag and for the fact that she was in her robes on the day off.]

Why are you trying to hide it? I'm sure you won't get in trouble for it in your common room.

[The highlight of her week so far, Nepeta has saved up enough of her money to head over to the sweet shop and buy a good portion of the store's stock of Mice Pops. Even in alternate universes, some cravings just need to be sated. Even if they're just candy.

Nepeta can be found inside, Mice Pop half hanging out of her mouth while she keeps a bag of her loot slung over one shoulder and she checks out some other candies with the other hand.]

[ Roxy was having a particularly hard time with the store in that to her knowledge it was her first time there. There's far too much to look at and everything looks fantastically hilarious. She slides up to Nepeta. ]

Okay, so mice pops... not actually mice, right?

[She looks to Roxy, face scrunching with disgust.]

Eww, no! Who wants to eat actual mice?

Chihiro feels that she should probably try a little bit of everything (that looks good anyway) but some of these things...

She's currently got a basket with a couple of things in it and is... staring in wonder at the cockroash clusters, wondering if anyone actually eats them. Gross!]

[Where else would a first-year sneaking out to Hogsmeade go first than a sweet shop? Chihiro might catch a brief glimpse of a very familiar looking young girl before Rise notices her.

There's a small pause as Rise's brain struggles to process the much taller girl being adorable little Chihiro, but then she gives an excited wave.]

Heeey, Chihiro-chan~!

[She seems to have forgotten the possibility of altered memories, or just doesn't care, as she rushes over to greet her friend. Right up in her personal space, as always, but this time she's barely up to Chihiro's chest and smiling up at her.]

[Chihiro jumps a little when she hears her name but turns around and--]

Eh?

[who the heck is this little munchkin? She looks familiar and obviously knows her but...]

Um...

[...hey wait a goshdarn minute]

Ah!! Rise-san?! Is that you?!

[Sheena's had enough of studying for the time being, so of course, she's taking a break down in the town. She'll stop by the Three Broomsticks later. Right now, it's time for some sweets!

But she can't decide between the Chocolate Frogs or the Crystallized Pineapple...]

[Conan is standing a little further down the aisle, staring in distaste at the blood pops.]

Why would anyone want to eat this?

[Sheena looks at what he's referring to and shrugs her shoulders.]

Everyone has different tastes. I take it you don't like them?

[Well, hi there! Sheena's glancing at her and smiling.]

Hi! [She chuckles in embarrassment.] Yeah, I like both of them, but they don't really taste good together...

[Alright, she usually doesn't head out to Hogsmeade, considering the effort she throws into her studies, but she can be found here in Honeyduke's to get some sugar before heading back. At the moment, she's looking through several boxes of chocolate frogs. She already had a few of the cards, so why not hope to boost her collection!]

[Truth be told, York's been on the lookout for a girl that could be Carolina ever since getting here, but apparently being in different Houses meant it was harder than it should be to get in touch with other students. For that matter, he wasn't even sure she was in his year, which might be awkward. Add that to suddenly having to bullshit everything about magic and having Delta turned into a frog, well, he was having a bit of a rough week. Stocking up on exotic candy (he wasn't going to shoplift unless he ran out of money, although that was looking increasingly likely) seemed like a good way to add a little spice to an otherwise stressful world change.

Currently, he's trying to decide if Fizzing Whizbees actually perform as advertised. Spoilers: they do.]

[Brock is here, definitely not just pretending to look over the candies and definitely not just awkwardly loitering.

He's super definitely not waiting for anyone to show up. Nope.

[Hey, buddy, there are other people in this sweets shop who are definitely not waiting for people to show up! Molotov wanders by him, carrying a box of Glacial Snow Flakes, and brushes past him.]

[It is a shop filled with sweet food. Of course Katniss is there, and of course she is buying as much as she can get her hands on. She'll stockpile in her room.]

[Jennifer was completely charmed by the sweet shop as soon as she walked in. So much looked good, and she wasn't even sure where to start. Her eyes then fell on the... more unusual-looking sweets at the back of the shop.

She picked up an Acid Pop, furrowing her eyebrows as she studied it. They wouldn't sell candy that was actually real acid... ... would they?]

I wonder if "acid pop" just means citric acid...

Sugar is staring at the sweets display starry-eyed, trying to decide what she wants to buy. How she got here is anyone's guess, since first-years aren't supposed to be in Hogsmeade. (She probably took a wrong turn again.)]
