[it's Saturday, so it's time to kick back and enjoy the lovely sights of Hogsmeade. Have a drink at the Three Broomsticks, grab some sweets from Honeydukes, or dare to check out the famously haunted Shrieking Shack! Just kick back and enjoy yourselves today!

[ Poor boy. ]

I wouldn't want you to be just anyone, Lucrezia. I prefer you being you.

[ She tries to tug his hand closer, her smirk devious. ]

Good. I should only like to be myself.

[unvarnished]

[he approves of that devious smirk, and leans closer to her]

So since you asked first, why did you decide to hang out with me?

[lucre]

[ So now she can trace lazy circles on his chest. ]

Because you want it more than they do.

Oh? [be cool, man, be cool] And what do I want?

[lucre]

[ Her smirk says it all, but then she knows she can take what she wants for herself. Dropping her hand to his side, she leans in to place the lightest kiss on his neck, just a breath. ]

[a kiss to the neck is definitely moving in the right direction. August lightly strokes her cheek with his thumb, pushing her back. Not to discourage, but to get a real kiss out of her]

[ She would gladly oblige in that case, leaning in to nip at his lower lip with a chuckle. Everything is a game. ]

[he can play games, too. And this game includes making out with Lucrezia, which makes it a really good one. He shifts to get closer, flashing a grin]

[ She traces his jawline with her fingers, stopping to pinch his chin. In her eyes is a challenge, always. ]

Show me how much.

[a good writer should know how to show better than they tell. Like the spark in his eyes when she touches his jaw, or how his own fingers lightly move down her back and across her shoulders. Being impulsive has always been part of his nature]

Don't you want to get out of the water first?

[lucre]

Must we?

[ Even if the mud under her feet feels slippery and so she must hold on to his arm when she leans in to steal a kiss, brief but insistent. ]

[he would answer but you know, in this case kissing her is a much better idea than talking. He doesn't mind the mud or the lake water. He tangles his fingers in her hair]

I guess if it means that much to you, we can stay a little longer.

[lucre]

[ Some boys kiss for the sake of it, bragging rights, and then there are the ones who know to enjoy it whether or not they live to tell the tale. So to speak. She breaks the kiss only to place another one just beside his lips. ]

Are you cold?

[unvarnished]

If I say yes, will you help warm me up? [a bold thing to say, but hey. He gave it a shot]

[lucre]

[ She places her hand on his side then, fingers tickling up his body as she smirks in reply. ]

Maybe.

[unvarnished]

[he shivers a little at her touch, his own fingers playing with her hair. He's going to let her keep going]

[lucre]

[ But then she prefers to have them chase or leave together, have them wish they chased, now moving to step away and back toward land. The muddy land has her walking slowly enough for him to catch if he wishes or perhaps that's intentional. ]

[he gets out of the water to follow after her] Lucrezia, wait for me.

[lucre]

[ She slows her steps to wait for him, even if it means wrapping her other arm about herself in a feeble attempt to keep warm. Her giggle comes mostly from the chill. ]

Why?

[unvarnished]

[he drops his cloak around her shoulders] So I can give you that, of course.

[lucre]

[ All the better. This way she can drop his cloak to the ground to keep the mud away when she tries to pull him down with her. ]

[unvarnished]

[oh he wasn't expecting that at all. What is even going on anymore. He smiles a little nervously as he obediently follows her. Don't question it, just go with it]

[lucre]

[ She shifts under him to be more comfortable, as much as one can be with only a cloak between her back and the muddy lakeside. But she laughs it off, reaching to place a hand on his cheek and content to just watch him for now. ]
