Alright then. [He felt uncertainty build up inside of him but wasn't going to let that frighten him off. His Took side was screaming for him to get to the lobby and meet Lara. Another adventure, right?
He made his way down the stairs and into the lobby, looking around for his friend.]
[Tess is down shortly. Having been in Paradisa for a harrowing few days she's at least had time to clean up, but she can't get rid of the tell-tale marks of a survivor: the scratches and bruises littering her arms, the bigger ones patched up with little bits of medical tape and the little ones left open. Her shoulder wound was bandaged with an expanse of white bandaging that consumed her entire right shoulder and up the incline of her neck, the center of it subtly coloured by the ooze of fresh lymph. On top of that, her hair is unstyled, pulled back only by a bandanna, and her face is free of any make-up.
Tess hasn't touched make-up or a curling icon in over a decade, and maybe she looks younger than her 39 years for it. She's more used to carrying shivs and a handgun, anyway.
She approaches Lara with a certain ease and carelessness. That's just how Tess does things, "making friends" everywhere she goes.]
I'm guessing you're the one with the shooting range.
[Lara turned to see her new acquaintance, and immediately she noticed something... This woman, the scars, just everything... Is she a survivor like her? She has a lot of scars herself, but she keeps them hidden underneath a jacket. Regardless, she straightened up and gives Tess a greeting nod]
I don't run it, but I'm there a lot.
[Lara is just starting to pack her bags to get ready to go. She's carrying a lot of guns and ammunition in them]
Great, I'll be down in a jiff to see what you've got.
[It only takes her a minute or two to get from he room on the third floor to the lobby, and she immediately spots the girl that she knows she hasn't really met, but remembers being friends and roommates with at Hogwarts.]
[And when you get to the lobby, there'll be a tall girl in odd
boots with a messy ponytail waiting for you. At least she shouldn't be
hard to spot. She looks like she's looking for someone.]

[That's a voice she hasn't heard before... She's unsure if she should ask about the woman's shooting arm]
