[So, in an effort to make her feel...less angry about the events of the last few days, Maladict has gone into town, deciding to throw herself more into her best person duty. After all, if Brock was ~~stupid~~ ~~happy~~ stupid enough to want to get married, he should at least have a decent sendoff. And the art was in the preparation for this sort of thing, she was sure. You know, I never thought it would be this easy to find Seamstresses in this world. Guess I was wrong. Seems it's forever the most common profession if people want it to be or not. Nice to know some things are the same here as they are back home.

Which is, much better than I can say for most who deal with Nikola. [At least she doesn't shoot him for fun too come to think of it...] However I hope you are never so angry as to do that to him as well.

Anyone who deals with Nikola on a regular basis has something special about them. [And he says that rather dryly.]

I'm fairly certain it's a prerequisite.

I am as well, as Helen once said, he is an acquired taste.

I have to figure out how to get him to sit through a wedding when the groom wants to punch his face repeatedly.

Any tips on that would be a help.

[He's just sighing at that. The last time Nikola had been invited to a wedding where the groom wanted to punch his face repeatedly the two of them had gotten drunk in Nikola's flat.

Of course the bride had been Helen...but well that was a story for another time.]

Unfortunately that is one thing that escapes even my own abilities to give you clues on how to handle. Except bribing him with wine. Or pigeons perhaps.

He'd release the pigeons in the wedding, just to spite Brock.

Wine might be a good idea, though.

Then give them to him after the wedding.

And it usually is with him. Find some older, rather expensive vintage and he will appreicate it all the more.
