depart to the Dead Zone. He has left in my care letters addressed to each of you; you may come to my rooms, number 304, at your leisure. Or I will deliver them to you, if you would prefer it.

It is entirely possible that we have not yet met. [Especially since she’s doing this, in part, to find out how many of you there are] I am the Lady Galadriel of Lothlórien, friend and ally of Master Frodo Baggins, if that means aught to you. [Hopefully it does. It should, but with recent castle events, she can't be certain.]

[He rises then, adjusting his jacket when he stands and slipping his hands back into his pockets.]

No problem. [If it was difficult, he'd be the first to shrug and act as though he was only repaying a favor.] I'll keep in touch.

[She gives another nod and rises to get the door for him.] If this should continue to trouble you, feel free to call upon me again.

[He follows her to the door, somewhat relieved that she's letting him get away with an abrupt departure. Maybe she expects him to be back.]

[Possibly. Possibly, she just doesn't see anything more productive coming from this conversation. Either way, she opens the door for him.]

[He says nothing else, since he's said more than his share already, and ducks out the door. Who knows if any of it was for the better. He certainly hadn't made any promises he couldn't keep.

Time would tell how long it'll be before he loses his mind again. He'll do his best to keep that to himself.]
