[Paradisa is a strange place; Galadriel has known this for some time. Yet she never quite imagined that she'd find herself knocking on Thranduil's door, holding an egg and a note.]

[Later, you can find Galadriel out on the grounds of the castle, sitting under a tree,watching a little fawn sized unicorn frolicking nearby. The little critter is a curious little thing and, if you're interesting enough, she might even approach- cautiously, of course.]

Does she have a name?

No. If she doesn't disappear in a week or so, I'll think about giving her one.

[He makes no mention of Wade, who the Nightmare also belongs to.]

[She likely will disappear, of course. Galadriel has been here long enough to know this. But still...]

And in the meantime? You must have some form of address for her.

No. I've only ever given a name to one of my Nightmares.

Strange. [She tilts her head as she looks up at him.] We have spoken before, I think, over the journals. Pitch Black, was it not?

That's right. And you are Galadriel-- Lady Galadriel, I've heard.

That I am. I must say, I am somewhat surprised to find that I have been a topic of conversation.

Not gossip, I assure you. I spoke with another elf who knows you.

[inafadingcrown]

Ah, that is far less surprising; I am known to most, if not all the elves here. [Including the one not from her homeworld. She tries to keep track of the elves who come and go here.]

I didn't get this one's name.

Oh? Did he not offer an introduction? [Somehow...she's not that surprised. Pitch, you do have a rather off-putting manner of self presentation.]

No, and I didn't ask.

Then I will not offer clarification on the matter.

You certainly can if you'd like. Unless, of course, you think he'd prefer you not to.

As it is, I cannot know what he would prefer- not in the least because I am not yet certain to whom you spoke. But you will forgive, I hope, if I say that I would not be surprised were I to learn that he prefered to remain unknown; a certain caution in dealings with you is, I think, understandable.
