[Paradisa is a strange place; Galadriel has known this for some time. Yet she never quite imagined that she'd find herself knocking on Thranduil's door, holding an egg and a note.]

[Later, you can find Galadriel out on the grounds of the castle, sitting under a tree, watching a little fawn sized unicorn frolicking nearby. The little critter is a curious little thing and, if you're interesting enough, she might even approach- cautiously, of course.]

action;
He spied Galadriel and smiled, waving at her, Bacon and Agni yipping at his heels and scampering forward to greet the elf. ]
I see you have been blessed with a young one too.

So I have. She is a sweet little thing.

[ Bacon and Agni wag their tails and snuffle, coming close to the little unicorn curiously.
The Naga on Ashura's shoulder lets out a curious little hiss and works its way down Ashura as the king knelt to let him down, gliding over to join his "brothers". ]
I was a bit alarmed with him at first, but he's very much a dear. A bit of trouble with random patches of fire though.

Is it really so surprising? He is my child, after all, it would make sense that he can use fire - though with less control than I. He is but a baby, after all.
[ He smiled at the little creature as it reached out a tiny, chubby hand to touch Iestivren's nose. ]
What do you make of it? The Castle sending us these new children?

Galadriel intercepts her before she gets too close, scooping the little foal protectively into her arms. But now she's close enough that she can't get away with pretending not to notice the dragon, so she offers a polite nod.]
Firethroat. I hope you have found the day pleasant.
no subject
Firethroat watches the foal lazily as she approaches. The baby is too small to make a meal and Firethroat has no inclination to go out of her way to kill unicorns. Still, she is not terribly surprised when Galadriel picks her up. Lifting her head off the ground, she offers a small nod in return.]
I have, thank you. I see you have found a young one since we last met.

Either Galadriel or her unicorn might sense a general aura of uneasiness that the creature brings with it, but it's not acting in a threatening way.]

Pitch chuckles.]
Unicorns might be too full of light for this creature, I'm afraid.

Galadriel raises an eyebrow and gives a wry little smile.]
Perhaps the Lady of Light should keep her distance as well, then.

Galadriel. To what do I owe this honor?
[She was holding... some kind of large egg?]

It seems that the castle has thrust us together once again.
no subject
When it does not happen, he finally sighs lightly.]
It is not that I particularly object to your company [or well, less than he once had, even if she can still get under his skin] but all the same, I would have wished for another partner. At this rate people will talk.
Is it the egg we are meant to watch? If so it would seem an easy task.

Clearly, it's very young, so Rise doesn't want to scare it off, but she crouches down a little and speaks in a very soft voice.]
Hello there~.
[It does seem to be sticking close to that familiar elf lady, doesn't it? Rise glances up at Galadriel and offers a smile. She's not quite sure how to ask about the unicorn yet, though... it could be any number of things, and she wouldn't want to assume the wrong one...]

Galadriel simply smiles back, content, for the moment, to let the two introduce themselves.]
It seems Iestivren has made a new friend.
no subject
Is that her name?
[At least, it sounds like a girl's name to Rise? She hopes she got it right.
Also now that Galadriel's spoken up, she gives the elf lady a curious look. She knows she's seen her around (how could you miss someone like her?), but she doesn't think they've ever really spoken...]
no subject
It is. [And it is a girl's name. Good guess.] And I am Galadriel. [A little dip of her head] I do not believe that we have met.

Action
Another welcome thing is the sight of Galadriel, whom the young elf maiden approaches with respect and perhaps a hint of caution. She would not wish to disturb her after all. ]
Good day, My Lady.
no subject
[As if to offer his own greeting, the unicorn foal moves hesitantly forward and sniffs about Tauriel's feet.]
no subject
[ Well, apart from being followed around by a baby dragon. That part is kind of... disturbing.
The unicorn, on the other hand, is delightful, and it makes a wide smile appear on her lips. She stays still, letting the little creature familiarize itself with her. ]
And who is this?
