[Maladict really isn't in much of a better mood. She's tried to focus on other things, however, to keep her mind off wanting to punch certain stupid people in the face multiple times. She's sitting in the dining room, sipping a cup of coffee, doodling vague turtle shapes in her journal as she dictates]

Does anyone else find their attitude towards going home changes the longer they stay here? Not exactly contentment, but...I don't know. Almost a sort of familiarity? I wonder if that just comes naturally after getting used to this place, living here for so long, or if it's something the castle itself is doing to our minds. Trying to lull us into a false sense of security. Make us want to say.

[Though she's still homesick, though she misses the Disc and have people understand her culture and her way of life without having to explain it...she doesn't feel the same drive to leave as she once did. She doesn't like it, it's worrying]

I miss them, yeah. More than that. I'm tired of having to explain my world to people who continually fail to understand it.

Because they can't get their tiny minds around the fact that maybe, just maybe, some other worlds might not run on the same values and physics of their own. They feel they have to understand it so they can, I don't know, refute it or something.

I find it happens with the people from Earth more than anything. Just because they're the most numerous in the castle doesn't make their world any more right or important than ours.
