bronwe[ Frodo arrives rolling and tumbling across the floor.
There was a great shadow over him then, something with a terrible stench and legs too numerous to count. And now, light. He shields himself from the brightness and scoots back until he bumps against the wall, then scrambles to find shelter behind a couch. It hurts his eyes. The air is suddenly too clear, everything too clean. He fears it is a trick.
He speaks in a hush, afraid to alert the enemies but more afraid of being alone. ]
Sam? Where are you, Sam?

Anyway, the pie shop has been pretty dead looking. Maybe I'm just going at the wrong times.
[She realizes as she's saying it that she's not the best person to relay news like that. Buried underneath her food cravings.] -- I just really wanted pie...

I mean, no one wants me trying to bake a pie. I'd probably burn down the kitchen.
rose: fail at knitting

It's been less than two weeks and she already feels like she's about to go a little bonkers if these stupid needles don't stop turning her knitting projects into gigantic, tangled wads. Currently, she's in a chair in the library, with a cup of tea beside her and a hideous mass of yarn in her lap. Damn castle.]
Really, I can't see what vendetta this castle could possibly have against pasttimes. My previous loss was perfectly effective. Perhaps the continuous clink of needles managed to grate on its questionably-existent nerves?
[An audible sigh of distaste.]
If it's no trouble, I wouldn't mind speaking with any other residents who were fortunate enough to receive a new loss for Christmas. There may be a pattern to be found.

I find it difficult to grasp the notion that none noticed by absence. Truly, I am horrified still at what transgressed, having had to depend on a strange but noble woman for escort, only to return and find none the wiser.
This must cease. This... This mockery of a castle is nothing more than a small child dressing itself up in empty purpose. Any fey who might try such nonsense on me again will rue it. Think you that I am the weaker for not having my lord husband at my side? That is a dangerous mistake to make.
If none other will hold court here, then I will take up that role as Regent, and breathe purpose into the very walls. Any who have or would swear fealty to England, I would have a renewal of your vows. If you do not already know the name Anne Boleyn, you will know it soon, and know it well.

Er, what I mean to say is, I was one of the ones who were replaced by an imposter. --but I'm fine now! I just, uh... I wanted to apologize for anything they might've done, I guess? H..he was kind of a jerk from what I read.
Um, that's it, I guess. O-oh, and Happy New Year's! Ah, what year is it here again? I can't really remember... Does anyone even use the year here all that much?
Also, I'm back at the castle for awhile, if anyone wants to do anything. Although... I'd prefer for it to be inside. Why does it have to be so miserably cold out?
