[ Did someone order a break-in? No? Well, she'll have to stay anyway until you say so.

But really, this started as her trying to write something, only to realize he would just ignore it and her, so instead she'll be waiting in a nice chair in his room, reading by a single lamp while a wrapped Christmas present sits in her lap. She's even decked out with a Christmas sweater for kicks.

They will talk whether he likes it or not. ]

[ Well, she hopes it's nothing bad. Lana will be upset if Kara handles this the way Clark did, but it's stupid to keep it secret from a super girl.

She can only hope that Kara and Clark's clashing views will help her this time. ]

But it's important. Can you come by?

Well, then don't phrase it like it's the end of the universe!

[But her butt is skedaddlin' over, and a few minutes later she's knocking on the door.]

[ Wow, knocking, so polite! Lana will open the door for her quickly and wave her in. ]

Sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound dire. That's probably the stress from other problems leaking in.

[She slips in. She's marginally better dressed for winter today, in a big coat and scarf and knee-high boots... but with little denim shorts.]

[ Yes this whole meeting is an intervention on Kara's wardrobe... ]

Um, well, I'm not sure where to start.

[ Leading the way up the stairs so they can sit on the couch. Her nerves are too high-strung for her to think of offering coffee or cider or anything. ]

The Lana in your world, she's as normal as can be, right?

[Their last bit of drama involved Insect Queens. Kara gives Lana a puzzled look, following her through the place.]

Not in the slightest.

[Creepy vampire senses lets him know she's in his room once he's in front of the door. He sighs, audibly as he opens the door.]

Katherine at least had the decency to knock, you know.

[ Lana looks less than impressed at him mentioning Katherine first thing. What a mood dampener.

Okay, it was already dampened. But rather than snap at him, she'll just force a stiff smile and shut her book. ]

You would have shut the door in my face.

And yet knowing that, here you are.

[He steps aside so she could leave and motions for her to find her way out.]

[ Seriously, try and make her. She stays where she is, but she'll hold out the present. ]

[Damon can and will be just as equally stubborn. He stays where he is and even folds his arms.

He doesn't know what she wants and isn't particularly in the mood to humor or entertain her. Damon would actually prefer they continue avoiding each other. Especially after his conversation with Katherine.]

[ She pauses, then sets it back down in her lap. It's hard to stay calm when he's being such a brat. ]

Why are you mad at me? I didn't do anything wrong, you even said as much yourself. If I had known...

[He moves away from the door finally at least, but he's leaving it open. Damon feels like he needs a stiff drink already. He's well-stocked now that he's taken the time to get his room much more to his liking.]

I've had some time to think. [And time to talk to Katherine.] And hey, I was a bastard to you, Lana, but I know how this goes.

So, you know, if it's all the same to you, I'd like to pass.

[Speaking of the restaurant... she did tell Ezio she'd apologize, but it sounds like he didn't tell Lana about the whole mess. She kinda wishes he did.]

[He's a little bemused by that. She's not one to be particularly over-confident with her abilities and yet there's a conviction in her voice which gives him pause.]

May I ask what's changed your perspective on that?

[There's a slight pause where he tries to read between the lines.]

I see. Is it something you can tell me about, or is it too personal?

[Wes tends to respect a person's privacy when it comes to personal matters, but he also has a tendency to want to get to the truth, to the bottom of a puzzle or mystery. He's somewhat torn as to how much to press Lana for in terms of an explanation.]

[ She's been wanting to tell him for awhile now, but even if she feels she should be able to tell him everything, she's worried about his opinion most of all. ]
