Thank you, Paradisa, for choosing to ring in my third year here by making me lose my memories of the place. I could not have thought of a better way to spend my anniversary.

Is everyone else okay? I mean "okay" as in... have your memories all returned?

 I would wish that there was some way of preventing memory loss in this place. 

[Will was still quietly upset about the entire thing. He'd lost his memories once. Through illness. And it had been one of the most terrible things he had ever experienced. He had not appreciated the castle's reminder.]

So apparently I don't even need the castle to help me forget that I've been here over a year now...

[This comes with a lot of feelings for Wade, most of which are melancholy, but she hates to dwell on those feelings. Sitting here crying won't send her home or reunite her with her friends. She has to look on the bright side.]

I haven't lived in one place for this long in...well, a long time. Seems like a whole lifetime ago, sometimes.

But anyway, happy anniversary to me, huh? [The sarcasm and denial is thick in her voice.]

I wished up a cake. You're all welcome to some. Otherwise I'm going to be severely tempted to eat it all myself. [Because crying isn't productive, but she can sure as hell eat her feelings instead. Booze will probably come later]
