[What ho Paradisa. If you are the lobby now, you might find a somewhat unusual sight: three kids - well, two kids and one young teenager, really, the teenager conspicuously naked and sprawled out on one of the lobby couches. The teenager has long blue hair and is filthy. The kids are relatively clean, one of them - the older boy - graced with a crown of pale blond hair, the other a smaller little girl wearing a traditional robe and black pigtails. There's a journal nearby of course, and it picks up a voice which might sound a bit familiar:]
Hey... person! Hey! How come you're naked?
[Then the younger boy:] Because he's got no clothes, stupid.
I'm not stupid! [That seems to rile the little girl up; she gives the boy next to her a push.
It looks like this minor ruckus is enough to wake the third boy anyhow.] Whuh...?
[What do, Paradisa?]
[ooc: Yep, starting this loss a tad earlier than planned; tagging pattern will be something of a clusterfuck. There is no particular order planned; if you'd like to discuss any details, ping Stick on AIM at teamtoques, Red at LostBlueHeights, or Senri at Sushiflop.]

Hey, why do you have blue hair?

My hair's always been this color.

Why are your eyes yellow? Are you a devil?
no subject
Hey, don't ignore me!
no subject
A devil?
no subject
You don't know what a devil is? What about angels?
[...hmmmmm.] Does that mean you're from really far away? Is that why you're different colors? Can you do strange things? Are you magic?

...and then decides that there is one easy answer for all of them. why not?]
Yes.

But he says he's magic. That's important!

This whole place is magic! What do you do?
no subject
It's a secret.

And you're just a little kid.

I'm just a kid but I can talk better than you! That's the dumbest reason for anything I've ever heard!

...it's kind of fascinating.]
Little children are stupid and talk too much, so I'm not going to tell you.

I bet you have blue hair because your mom and dad tried to drown you in paint.

He takes a moment to think.
He thinks about how mad she got, all because of some little thing he said. He thinks about how she spat it right back at him, and the words she used, and the strange way it makes him feel. The whole thing gets considered as he takes a momentary mental step back. Finally--]
Maybe you're right.
