[What ho Paradisa. If you are the lobby now, you might find a somewhat unusual sight: three kids - well, two kids and one young teenager, really, the teenager conspicuously naked and sprawled out on one of the lobby couches. The teenager has long blue hair and is filthy. The kids are relatively clean, one of them - the older boy - graced with a crown of pale blond hair, the other a smaller little girl wearing a traditional robe and black pigtails. There's a journal nearby of course, and it picks up a voice which might sound a bit familiar:]

Hey... person! Hey! How come you're naked?

[Then the younger boy:] Because he's got no clothes, stupid.

I'm not stupid! [That seems to rile the little girl up; she gives the boy next to her a push.

It looks like this minor ruckus is enough to wake the third boy anyhow.] Whuh...?

[What do, Paradisa?]

[ooc: Yep, starting this loss a tad earlier than planned; tagging pattern will be something of a clusterfuck. There is no particular order planned; if you'd like to discuss any details, ping Stick on AIM at teamtoques, Red at LostBlueHeights, or Senri at Sushiflop.]

[a shushing noise--trying to get her to simmer down while he lowers his own voice.]

You woke him up...!

[Her gaze zips back to rest on Legato and she stares at him as he stirs on the couch.]

Hey... hey. Mister, you don't have clothes!

[it's a pretty fast transition from bleary-eyed and sleepy to all-out startling awake once he stirs. Big yellow eyes flying open, limbs fumbling him backward until he's pressed solidly up against the back of the couch.

He stares at the other kids, but it's really only for a moment, before he starts looking wildly around at everything else.

Give him a sec. He has other more important things to get a handle on right now.]

[hey, he looks kind of not great.

he puts his hands on the little girl's shoulders (even though she pushed him a little while ago) so that she doesn't go anywhere.

he's got his eyes on you, weirdly-colored kid.]

[the first thing ANYONE does after waking up from a castle-induced trip home is go get coffee. clearly. and Ray's on his way out from doing just that very thing when he happens upon this tableau]

Wuh-oh. Uh, castle, can I get a blanket, please?

[and once it appears, he'll pick it up, drape it over one shoulder, and make his way toward the kids]

You guys alright?

[Rin stares at Ray. Her eyes are enormous. She doesn't look like she's in a panic or anything, she's just very uncertain.]

Who're you?

/jumps in here too!

[little Zelman, on the other hand, is getting way closer to the tiny Rin and glaring up at Ray.

...mostly out of habit.]

[Del is not good with babies. As proven by her continuing to receive one, however, she's not bad with them either.

But she is looking at these three with a vague curiosity.]

[yeah you know, he's finally getting around to looking at things that aren't the other kids, maybe to see where he is so that he can WHOA THAT LADY WHY IS SHE SO MANY DIFFERENT COLORS.

stopping and staring. just.

staring.]

[Del holds her hand out, and gestures lightly with her fingers - beckoning.]

Come here, little Tick. You're not you enough to have a Tock.

[WELL HEY she has this kid's attention pretty damn fast. She doesn't... feel like other people feel, and it makes his eyes go wide.

Just staring, maybe blinking a little against the way that she shows up something like a lensflare and feels like a hiccup in his mind]

[Her other hand extends much more loosely to Blue, almost careless in the way it gestures near the floor.]

Do you hear me still? I'll keep the order maybe somehow, no invasions.

[Felix might not have given a group of kids in the lobby in a second glance except - saints and fucking powers - the older one looks disturbingly familiar. He's not one hundred percent sure, though, which means he has to find out.]

Do you...need some help?

[Well, she's stuck on this now. Rin gives Felix a second's intent stare and then points at Legato.]

He needs clothes!

[beforepride]

[red hair? really tall? bizarrely pretty? for a couple of seconds, Felix looks really close to someone else that Zelman's ten-year-old brain knows.

he realizes it isn't him when he talks, but that doesn't keep him from staring.]

[Suddenly, while the younger kids are fighting, Pharos just appears out of nowhere - sitting balanced on the arm of the couch that Legato is on.

He watches Rin, and Zelman, and then looks at Legato.... and bursts into giggles.]

You are all so small!

[beforepride]

[sdjfskdlfd this is an undignified yelp of surprise.]

H-Hey, where did you come from?

[littleharbinger]

[he startles before the other kid even says anything, jumping a little when another presence suddenly pops to life on his mental radar. He scoots quickly to the side...

...and then notices that, while the other doesn't feel normal, he just looks like some kid.]

You're smaller.

[Wandering through the lobby is a rather routine occurrence, as is seeing what might be classified as unusual sights. That was the way of Paradisa, wasn't it? The unusual was usual.

But these three children stand out- they look and feel familiar. She's got a pretty good guess as to what's going on. So she's approaching with a gentle smile on her face. See? Not scary at all.]

You seem to be in need of some assistance.

[he makes a little noise, but doesn't say anything. this chick looks like the kind of person who might actually belong here, for sure. he's going to keep quiet and let the others do the talking, because Legato is older than him and Rin... has people skills.

he'll stare at her in the meantime, though.]

[yeah, she seems important. From his seat on the floor, he looks up... and politely shakes his head. No need to concern yourself with us, madam.]

[ lalala nudge is walking through the lobby with the pretty flowers that she picked outside. what's this? three kids? cool, it's always nice to see kids around here. she raises her hand to give a friendly wa--

AHHHHH

she squeezes her eyes shut. ]

[oh jeez--he startles a little at being called out like that! He can't exactly do anything about it though, so he just draws his knees closer to himself and wraps his arms around his legs. Maybe glaring at the girl a little bit]
