If you are the lobby now, you might find a somewhat unusual sight: three kids - well, two kids and one young teenager, really, the teenager conspicuously naked and sprawled out on one of the lobby couches. The teenager has long blue hair and is filthy. The kids are relatively clean, one of them - the older boy - graced with a crown of pale blond hair, the other a smaller little girl wearing a traditional robe and black pigtails. There's a journal nearby of course, and it picks up a voice which might sound a bit familiar:]

Hey... person! Hey! How come you're naked?

[Then the younger boy:] Because he's got no clothes, stupid.

I'm not stupid! [That seems to rile the little girl up; she gives the boy next to her a push.

It looks like this minor ruckus is enough to wake the third boy anyhow.] Whuh...?

[What do, Paradisa?]

Not everyone is, no. In fact, I am not entirely certain that I myself could even be described as "magic".

I am afraid that I would like to keep that to myself, if you do not mind. There is no need to worry, however; I am acquainted with all three of you, so I have nothing but good intentions in mind towards you.

...Regardless of whether or not I agree with everything that you do. [Kind of... looking at Rin more than the other two when he says that.]

I apologize if what I have said thus far does not make a great deal of sense. This must be quite the strange situation for you all!

You are all rather quiet at this size though... do you not have any other questions? Or anything that you might wish to do?

Because the Castle often likes to ignore basic rules; such as the ones that "time" must follow by, or any other entity that it likes to take hold of for the time being.

I do not know any of you as you are now, but I believe I know you all later on in your lives. [He glances at Zelman.] For some of you, it is much later in your lives. To think that I would be able to speak with you all at such small sizes...

I must admit, this is actually quite the treat for me. Typically speaking I usually have to look up at people, if I do not wish to exert any energy.

[...Although he looks over at Legato at that.] I do suppose that I would still need to look up at you, however. You seem considerably taller than they are. Perhaps you are older?

[he narrows his eyes a little... but something about that explanation sounds a little familiar. He has the feeling someone else said much the same thing last time he was here, so... the concept is almost believable.

he nods in answer, and then--] ...If you think you knew us... what were we like?

...are you calling me short? [yeah that's all he got out of that.]

Yeah, what were we like? [Legato's question is better.]

[Apparently Pharos disagrees, because he's much faster with responder to Zelman.]

Not at all. It is simply that as I know you, you are typically larger than this. [But then he smiles.] You seem somewhat more cheerful now than you do in the future, Rin. It seems it has been some time since I heard from you when you were actually happy... You are not an unpleasant person, however.

... I cannot say that you have changed a great deal, Legato. Your silence thus far has not surprised me at all, and neither has your observation.

It is significantly more difficult to describe you though, Zelman. I hold you in very high regard.

I believe that he will be very proud of you.

[...he doesn't like this one bit. That mysterious bit of praise in Zelman's direction has him glancing over at the younger boy. Suspicious. Automatically defensive. Who is 'he' and why is he proud of this boy?


He doesn't voice any of it, however. He'll stick to the other thing that bothers him.]

You burn with more heat than anything else I have ever seen... And perhaps just as brightly as Minato.

[He smiles, and for an expression from Pharos it's actually on the soft side. It's pretty obvious, in the way that it is with people sometimes, that he thinks pretty damn highly of Zelman. Sorry Rin!]

[then after a pause looks to Legato, as if he hadn't quite heard him at first.]

I apologize. I was not aware that you went by anything else when you were younger. Would you prefer to be called something else, in that case?

[She kind of wants to wander off, looking towards the kitchen alcove (though of course she has no idea what that is) and then to the stairs -]
