So it's recently been brought to my attention about something called a loss. I've lost something as I came here and I was wondering, since I've obviously been here before, if anyone who knew me before could help me find out what it was.

I'd also like to meet anyone I knew before. If it's not too weird.

Perhaps. It need not be a memory, though they do appear to be common. An item or a skill would do as well.

An item or skill would be easier to detect. Perhaps I'll just have to try and do everything I can remember being able to do before.

Um... I think you lost some memories last time? I'm not totally sure... people don't usually tend to discuss their losses at length, you know? But I'm pretty sure that you lost some of your memories about your family last time you were here...?

My family. As far as I know, I can still remember them. But that doesn't mean much. I wouldn't know if I'd forgotten them, would I?

Well, I... maybe? I mean, if you had forgotten them entirely, you might just believe that you never had one, you know? But if that meant your entire family, including parents, then... well, I mean, everyone has parents somehow, you know?

I do remember my parents. I remember my mother's smile and her cooking. I remember the day my father took my flying for the first time and how I almost fell off the broom when I tried to touch the clouds.

[There's a sad smile in his voice as he remembers.]
