[Oh, god. Steph covers her face with her hands for a second, shoulders shaking with quiet laughter. These Renaissance people were going to kill her with the things they said, Lucrezia especially.

She drops her hands and clears her throat.]

We can go to my place. It's--[She moves to stand, but unfortunately her foot is on the back of her skirt so she doesn't get very far before losing her balance and falling back down into the seat with wide eyes.]

[ Lucrezia thinks she is threatening to be cruel, not lewd. She hasn't yet learned the versatility of whips. And it is Stephanie's tripping on her own skirt that finally breaks her into laughter.
