[Dictated and backdated to earlier today; in the background you can hear what sounds like water that's from the pool. Kinda weird huh? Well that's because someone woke up with a green fishtail while in the pool. Currently he's just hanging on the edge and talking into the journal. After the initial shock wore off, he is now just griping]

Okay what's going on with the castle now? Because this? This is just stupid. Absurdly stupid.

[....]

This better not last a week, come on! I am not sitting in a pool for a week! If you're going to do this to me, at least give me an interesting place to go!

Seriously, why does this place smell so funny? What do you people do to water, anyway?

[And so on and so on. Aren't you glad he's probably not your princess?]

[Editted in a bit later into the post; and filtered AWAY from Once-ler]

Hey, does anyone know any stories about fish people? Sakura wants to know.

[OOC: open or over the journal!]
encourage: (chat; discuss the details)

You'll hate half of them, but hydration's important. Vaseline I think is what you guys call it, but if you can't keep your tail properly hydrated and no one can move you out of where you are now, dry spots do better with some vaseline application.

You've got gills, too, though your lungs can handle breathing above and below water. If your throat starts getting real dry, or you get a tension headache, try submerging for a while. It should help. Ah -- you won't get wrinkled fingers from extended water exposure, and you won't need to drink, you're absorbing enough from the environment. You will want to eat on the other hand. For whatever reason, fish was easier to tolerate than anything landbased, even plant-wise. Seaweed was fantastic.

Nora's here. Don't worry, I'm not gonna ... run out of water or whatever. ... Seaweed and fish, huh? I guess I'd better learn to like sushi real fast.

Different causes can mean different effects. Try what you usually like first, see how it goes down.

You and Nora? Was she there right around when you woke up?
hard_talker: ((HHH) Nora - on the air)

Always good to know when my patients graduate to other caretakers.
