[ Kirby was just taking a nap when he woke up, feeling kind of... weird.

Everything felt smaller, somehow. The bed he was sleeping in didn't feel as gigantic, and neither did anything else, now that he thought about it. He tried to right himself to hop off, but instead found himself kind of doing an awkward front roll and falling off of his bed. ]

Poooooyo!

[ Finally, he got it when he saw his awkward eight-year-old limbs around him. He was one of the humans? Well. After the initial confusion, he calmed down quickly. Because why not? It was a pretty okay loss compared to what others went through.

Although the former puff is used to hopping down the stairs... so down he goes! Holding the railing with both hands, he awkwardly starts hopping down to the lobby, looking really, really weird. Feel free to run into this puff-turned-human jumping down, slipping, but thankfully holding onto the railing to right himself every time. ]

[ Eventually he looks down, nearly on the last step, and his face brightens in recognition. ]

Poyo, Luna! [ he calls, lifting one hand from the rail to wave. ]

Greetings, Kabii. Can I assume that this is, in fact, a loss?

[ He nods before concentrating on hopping down the last step. ] Poyo!

[ And he'll kinda just sit on the floor. He's not used to being tall, even if he is short by human standards. ]

[a smile] At least thou dost not seem particularly concerned.

[ He nods again. Being human wasn't too bad, he supposed! After all, it wasn't like he had become a monster or anything. ]

Poyo poyo! [ he stretches his arm up in the air, as if motioning to how much taller he was. ]

Thou wilt certainly have less trouble rifling through the taller cupboards. [though didn't he used to float? Maybe he'll have more trouble.]

Art thou still a black hole when it comes to food?

[He just turned the corner with a soccer ball. Watch out!]

[ Kirby flails in shock, eyes widening. ]

P-Poyo?! [ Cue him falling backwards onto his butt. ]

I'm sorry! Are you okay!? [he gives him a hand to pull him up]

[ He nods after getting over the initial shock, slooowly stretching out his arm to take his hand. ]

Poyo-okay! [ he assures him, giving him a smile. ]

Wait... Kaabii!?

Poyo! [ he greets, giving Tenma a little wave. ]

[Seeing him on the railing, but not recognizing him yet - ]

Oh, no! Please be careful!

[ Still gripping tightly onto the railing, he looks to her and smiles. It was one of his drawing buddies! Cue him taking one hand off the rail to wave. ]

Ffffl... Flutter...shy, poyo! [ he calls ]

[A few blinks - that voice, those words...]

Kabii...? Is that you?

[ He nods, still beaming at her. ]

Poyo!

[ He kind of hangs off the rail like a little kid would. ]

[She gulps, and tries to fly over to him.]

Y-You should get down from there, new body or not!

[ Her sort of scolding and her getting nearer makes him stop swinging and he just kind of hangs there, smiling sheepishly. ]

P-poyo. [ Admittedly, he's kind of afraid to put his feet down. ]

[Hunny is coming up the stairs with a plate full of cupcakes when SUDDENLY WEIRD LITTLE KID?]

Hey, do you need some help?

[ Kirby notices the kid and takes a hand off the railing to wave. He does kind of look stuck with his sheepish look. ]

Poyo! [ he nods. ]

Huh? [A little confused, Hunny waves back.] My name isn't Poyo, though!

[ He hesitates, unsure how to explain his speech impediment. He uses his free hand to point to himself. ]

Kaabii!

[ Then, he points to him. ]

Poyo?

I'm sorry!

[Hunny is a little distraught!]

I don't know what you're trying to tell me!

[ He takes a deep breath before dropping off the rail, stumbling but catching himself before he fell down the stairs. ]

Poyo-okay, [ he tries to reassure the boy; it's okay if he doesn't understand. Kirby anxiously hopes he understands eventually that talking wasn't really his forte. ]
