[ Kirby was just taking a nap when he woke up, feeling kind of... weird.

Everything felt smaller, somehow. The bed he was sleeping in didn't feel as gigantic, and neither did anything else, now that he thought about it. He tried to right himself to hop off, but instead found himself kind of doing an awkward front roll and falling off of his bed. ]

Poooooyo!

[ Finally, he got it when he saw his awkward eight-year-old limbs around him. He was one of the humans? Well. After the initial confusion, he calmed down quickly. Because why not? It was a pretty okay loss compared to what others went through.

Although the former puff is used to hopping down the stairs... so down he goes! Holding the railing with both hands, he awkwardly starts hopping down to the lobby, looking really, really weird. Feel free to run into this puff-turned-human jumping down, slipping, but thankfully holding onto the railing to right himself every time. ]

[ Eventually he looks down, nearly on the last step, and his face brightens in recognition. ]

Poyo, Luna! [ he calls, lifting one hand from the rail to wave. ]

Greetings, Kabii. Can I assume that this is, in fact, a loss?

[ He nods before concentrating on hopping down the last step. ] Poyo!

[ And he'll kinda just sit on the floor. He's not used to being tall, even if he is short by human standards. ]

[a smile] At least thou dost not seem particularly concerned.

[ He nods again. Being human wasn't too bad, he supposed! After all, it wasn't like he had become a monster or anything. ]

Poyo poyo! [ he stretches his arm up in the air, as if motioning to how much taller he was. ]

Thou wilt certainly have less trouble rifling through the taller cupboards. [though didn't he used to float? Maybe he'll have more trouble.]

Art thou still a black hole when it comes to food?

[ Kirby considers this, before realizing, for the first time, he didn't feel the same gnawing hunger he always did as a puff. He shrugs, looking thoughtful. How would he eat? ]

... Poyo...

[well, okay.

Hmm. What now? What does one do with a puff turned human? Maybe she'll just watch?]

[ And watch she shall! Kirby's decided now might be a good time to take a crash course in Eating 101 for Humans. He wishes up a cookie and crams it into his mouth, unaware that he was going to choke by doing this.

And choke he does. ]

...!

[ he starts coughing and hacking, trying to get some air. ]

...okay she slaps him on the back with a wing. Hopefully not too hard.]

[ Thankfully, that kind of helps and he coughs out a large piece of cookie. His eyes water as he forces himself to swallow the small piece that was left, coughing still after and taking deep breaths. ]

... poyo... [ he gasps out gratefully. Okay, so that wasn't the best of ideas. He needed to learn what teeth were all about and fast. ]

[a sigh of relief]

Thou shouldst chew afore swallowing.

[ Kirby peers at her curiously. He had never chewed anything before, not having teeth before. ]

Cheewwww... poyo?

[she shows off her pearly whites and clacks 'em together a couple of times]

Chew. So that one will not choke.

[ Oh? Kirby kind of mimics the movement before realizing he does have teeth! He runs a finger over them.

Take two! He decides to wish up another cookie this time, slowly bringing it to his mouth. He clacks his teeth together as the cookie makes it, chopping it cleanly in half... although the cookie nearly falls to the floor before he catches it. ]

Poyo... [ he seems pretty confused. ]

[she teleports an apple out of the fridge into her hooves, takes a bite, and then chews on it before swallowing.]

[ Oooh... Kirby watches how she eats veery carefully before taking one of the pieces of cookie and popping it into his mouth, making sure to chew thoroughly until the pieces were considerably smaller, and he swallowed. ]

Poyoooooooo... [ he breathes, finally understanding. ]

[a sigh] Wonderful. We can not have thee choking on thy very first day.

[ He carefully finishes the rest of his cookie before smiling apologetically. ]

... Poyo.

Hopefully, thou wilt prove to be somewhat more competent than Wheatley.

Wheeatley, poyo? [ He didn't know that she knew him! ... unfortunately, this kid isn't very knowledgeable about showers either. ]

Poyo poyo? [ as if asking what he did bad. He was a science-y guy, so he was smart, wasn't he? ]

[dammit. Will she be dumping him into the tub too?]

Presumably, he was some sort of automaton. As such, he did not know how to take care of a living body.

[ Depends on if she finds him icky or not by the end of a few days of likely tripping a bit, wandering outside, getting grass on his clothes... Kirby seems kind of surprised by this, but then again, there were a lot of people with different losses, from losing their voices to memories, so maybe body changes were also permanent. ]

Poyoo... [ and somehow Kirby finds him extremely smart ]

He certainly tries and I doubt his zeal can be matched, but I am unsure of his methods. His experiments, if thou wilt.
