[Today will find Spike in the library, piles and piles of books about dragons in front of him as he tries to find some answers the castle doesn't seem to want to give him. His journal is open beside him as he dictates into it]

Man, there are no books in the library telling you how to be a dragon. It's all about dragons being evil and stealing princesses and stuff. What is with that? I mean, who'd tie some girl to a stake and say 'oh this'll get rid of the dragon, this is what he wants'. That doesn't make any sense. Nothing here paints dragons in a good picture at all, and I know I'm not the only dragon that doesn't want to stomp around eating people. It sucks.

[Siiiiigh] And I'm gonna have nightmares about this George guy for the rest of my life. Thanks for that, Paradisa.

[Page flip. Silence] Wait. Dragons have a year? What's that about? Are dragons supposed to be doing something special this year or something? Because I don't want to miss out on that.

I tried to see if there were any books on the weather in Paradisa, but I couldn't find any in the library at all. [His tone very much suggesting that him not being able to find a book is UNHEARD OF. It's one of those skills he's very proud of] There doesn't seem to be any books on Paradisa itself at all. It's really weird.

[These are the moments where you kinda hate that you made a promise to help stop discrimination and prejudice. Dragons weren't quite what he had in mind when he said all that - buuuut guess they count for sentient here]

Then if that's the case, there's gotta be worlds that view dragons favorably or neutrally, right? [Maybe] Try asking people around for names of books that give another side of it. Then wish for those books from the castle and put them in the library. I think that'd be a good start.

You think that would work? I mean, it'd be nice to have books here where dragons aren't all...

Angry and stuff. Then anypony could read them and know we're not all like that.

It'd be a start, at least for the ones who don't have a strong opinion yet. I'm guessing most people here haven't have firsthand experience with dragons- so they just go off what they've learned from others or books.

Unfortunately if what they learned is bad and it's a message they've heard all their lives, well...it can be hard to shake that sometimes.

So they automatically think we're all vicious and eat everypony we can.

When I can. But that's hard food to come by, so I'll settle for grass and hay and stuff normally.

Yeah...I know there's culture differences between each of the worlds, but I'm preeetty sure poisoning a town where I'm from would be considered horrific, not cute.
