[ so, jet is out at the duck pond with dro. not that weird, right?
well, except for what he's doing, at the moment.
there's a life-sized mannequin of a person in a fire nation uniform floating out in the pond. upon closer inspection, one will see that it is the very image and likeness of a certain stupid scarface prince. jet is very determinedly trying to sink it. he has tied rocks to it, and he is also dropping heavy stones onto it, but. it keeps resurfacing. what's more, every time a stone hits it, a certain voice floats out of the chest area, saying things like:
"MY FATHER TAUGHT ME A PERMANENT LESSON! ON MY FACE!"
and
"Thith is therious guyth!"
looks like jet got his present from the castle.
so, you're welcome to hear those splashing sounds as jet dictates angrily: ]
The journals being wiped clean is one thing, but finding this thing in my closet? What the hell is going on?
[ ooc; things that plurk made me do™ ]

[Amelia doesn't know much about water, being from a desert planet. But even she can tell that this probably won't work.]
Looks like you're doing a pretty bad job.

You know a better way to sink something, other than tying rocks to it, and throwing more rocks on top of it?
[ he gives the stupid things an affronted look, and dumps another rock on it. ]
It should go down.

[But the sooner it's gone, the sooner it shuts up, right?]
Did you try setting it on fire?
no subject
No, I didn't.
[ and to her earlier statement: ] In the normal world maybe, but in case you haven't noticed, you're in a place that does what it wants, when it wants.

[Your logic fails to impress, Jet.]
You still could, although you'd have to let it dry out first. Or you could shoot it. Don't things sink faster when they're full of holes?
no subject
They also sink faster when they're weighed down with rocks and waterlogged. [ which is already is. listen, drowning zuko is poetic justice okay!! ] I'm not setting it on fire.
[ he glances at dro. maybe he could just get him to rip it to pieces. ]

[Amelia knows nothing about Jet's world. Poetic justice is lost on her.]
Why not? This obviously isn't working.

It'd probably enjoy being set on fire. The real guy is sick like that.
