[a great wind kicks up in the lobby this morning, stirring the curtains and any of the dirt tracked in by daily traffic. there's a familiar whooshing, vworping sound, and the TARDIS materializes squarely in the center of the lobby, just as though someone MEANT to land it there, with a dull, echoing thud.

the door creaks open, and Five strides out, far too occupied in the business of talking over his shoulder and unrolling his hat to notice where he is]

-- and furthermore, Peri, you shouldn't wander off. I know that Sarn was a completely unique situation, but you were supposed to be resting, and I --

[he stops, and looks around finally]

Oh, dear. Best stay in for now, Peri, until I find out where we've --

[he pokes his head back into the TARDIS, a bit surprised at the lack of whinging coming from within] Peri?

[with a great heave of a sigh, he closes the TARDIS door and leans on the exterior] ... It's always the new ones, isn't it.

[a while, actually, he usually just roots around in the TARDIS, because that thing has EVERYTHING, but anyway]

Peri? She's a companion of mine, hasn't been traveling with me overlong. Human - American, dark hair to about here - [gestures] - generally runs around in shoes with a sensibility inversely proportionate to the terrain.

So somebody from your universe came along? That's great! [Peers around him at the TARDIS door.] Is she still inside?

I'd imagine she must be. People don't just disappear mid-flight to Androzani Minor, after all...

I don't know, the castle's taken people in the middle of weirder things.

[Hops off the couch and trots over to try the TARDIS door. IS IT UNLOCKED?? 'Cause if it is, she's going inside.]

[IT IS INDEED, and she'll find it looks a LOT different on the inside. much whiter, and more oldschool, and sparse]

Has it, now? ... Well, that's interesting. How does it "take" people, does someone here have a transmat beam?

Oh, but I am new here.... And I've never changed the theme, not once. They're all far too hideous. Especially the leopard skin.
