[ Besides leaving her room for food, GLaDOS has been holed up in her room for the past while. If one could actually get in, they would see papers on every surface available, each labelled differently. She did vividly recall what her creations back at her facility were made of, but the problem was obtaining the materials. She had heard of 'wishing', but in her opinion, that was extremely ridiculous. Who knew if it even worked, and if it did, were the objects reliable? The former AI was still convinced that whoever had done this to them was toying with them, evidently, as it was scientifically impossible. Unless the technology really was advanced and had mind-reading capacities, but GLaDOS vehemently denied that as well. Even though she was human now, she still had a sense of pride for being the most advanced technology everywhere.

Right now, she's poring over her notes, unsure if she should even bother speaking to the residents. Eventually, she gives in, neatly writing in some filters. ]

[ Everyone except for Wheatley ]

I've heard from a few residents that there is some sort of 'wishing' process in this castle. I would like to hear more about it.

[ Maya ]

[ She clears her throat, finding it extremely odd speaking to a human in a convincingly friendly manner, but knowing how useful the girl could be, she had to at least attempt. ]

[maya starts piling her sandwich hiiiiiiigh, like... as much meat as you can imagine. She glances over at GLaDOS and makes a playful tsking noise]

You're going to starve with that much food! You need way way more. Here, like this! [ahaha, she'll reach over and put some of her extra meat on her sandwich.... I'm so sorry]

[ GLaDOS is bewildered, and she is SO tempted to say something.

Something concerning overweight humans.

But she bites her tongue, refraining from speaking. ]

Oh? ...... Thank you. [ she forces out, having trouble being so cordial. ]

Are you really eating that? [ she asks Maya, seriously wondering how the girl would manage. ]

Of course! [she gives GLaDOS a thumbs up]

I have a separate stomach for sandwiches.

[ Considering that couldn't be humanly possible, GLaDOS supposes that this girl just... have a ravenous appetite. ]

... I see. Do you like sandwiches that much? [ she has to ask, as she closes her own, wondering how she would even finish it. y u put so much meat in it maya ]

I love food. Sandwiches, being a distant cousin of the scrumptious burger, do get an added bonus, but I try to be fair with my love of food.

[she grins, kind of joking but kind of not really] I really just love meat.

[ Well. This proved all of her points that humans really enjoyed food. GLaDOS glances at Maya before looking back at her sandwich, unsure. Well, she had to at least try; she was hungry, after all. ]

I noticed. [ She goes back into the fridge. ] Do you want something to drink with it?

[ Holding up this polite front was getting a bit easier, although it still just wasn't her. ]

[you are doing a good job, GLaDOS! Maya is having fun, and she considers the option for nodding]

Water sounds good. Want me to grab some glasses?

Yes, that would be helpful. [ GLaDOS nods, heading into the fridge to get a pitcher of water. She places it on the counter. ]

Here it is. [ She's looking forward to eating. Also, maybe also seeing Maya actually eat her sandwich. ]

[oh GLaDOS... she'll put down the glasses, and sit down to start chowing down :3 She'll do so in... the least graceful way possible....... WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GIRL]

[ Needless to say, GLaDOS watches her with a raised eyebrow, almost mesmerized by how messily she actually ate, before shaking it off and taking small bites of her own. ]

... You're welcome. [ she forces out, pouring herself some water once Maya was done. ]

You really do have quite an appetite, don't you. [ Nope, it's not even a question. ]

Of course! [she salutes] I'm a growing girl after all, I need to get my protein.
