[The celebration continues in Paradisa. With so much going on, it's easy to catch the excitement high spirits that seems to be spreading among the townspeople--and even the residents.

In the courtyard, the same bright, inviting lights remain.

The two figures from before have left, replaced by two more. They stand poised, almost as if they are waiting to be approached. Will you?

Just past the gates, there seem to be an endless row of crates filled with various fireworks of all shapes and sizes. It seems Paradisa may be hinting at something.]

Met her in passing when we were in a tournament together, but there's nary a soul back home who didn't know her tale.

Tournament? [that smile gets a little bigger] So you're a fighter, then. What kinda tournament?

[Wow, at least someone is eager to learn around here]

Fighter and instructor. But back home we'd fight over who got to be queen for four years. May as well be a waste of time but it does have its surprising moments.

Hand to hand, no rules. Just so long as one girl was beat down somehow and one advanced. As for her? I don't know. I was disqualified before it was her turn, and I wouldn't be surprised if the queen then pulled some dirty trick to make her lose, too.

[That's not her being a sore loser, the queen really was a manipulative brat. Her voice sours further speaking of her.]

It doesn't discount what she did for the humans, though.

Sounds like the fights they had on th' freight boats from Ireland, back home. [he chuckles, glad to have found something familiar to talk about] Though, hope someone did beat out th' dirty bitch for cheatin'.

What's an Ireland? Though I suppose I can ask later. I am glad to say that I did see a swordswoman who passed my forest by one day win out. It was quite the broadcasting. But that's neither here nor there.

[She clears her throat.]

As her title implies, rid the world of wandering, malicious giants and ogres, using that blade of hers, often one-handed. Eventually fell in with a man called Owen the Dragon Slayer and fought to keep monsters at bay together.

Ireland? Only th' best country on God's green Earth. [he grins]

... One-handed?! [she mentions Owen and instantly his mind's going to what she could've been up to with that other hand. he smirks] Now there's a love story I can put some stock in.

Ahh, you're from Earth. I've only read about it, save for the bit where this place decided to send us to...France, was it? A bit cramped and modern for my tastes.

[Pffffffffffffff]

Afterwards, they retired to a mountain town to forge weapons, which they're now famed for their quality, and had a son who began following in their footsteps. It doesn't get more storybook than that.

.... Wait, everyone here went t' France? How the fuck did that work? [someone hasn't even been here 24 hours, you see, and most of the people he's met so far sounded like they were on crack.
