Day One: Party!
[it's the summer solstice and a huge group of demigods safely made it to camp. This is clearly a good omen for things to come. The camp is alive with music and dancing. The satyrs are jamming on their lutes and the tree nymphs come out of the trees to dance. Everybody's invited!
The party will go on long into the night. It's all for you guys, so have a blast!]
[Mingle | Eat | Dance | Campfire ( go tag! and backtags on the tour post are still okay!)]

[ Notices the blushing and startles at what he‘s doing. Saga... you never learn in how to hide it.
And for that, he looks away. ]
I‘m sorry.
no subject
( crap, she didn't mean to get another apology out of him. just made the embarrassment all the more strong, and she blushed more )
N, no it's okay, I'm just not really that amazing with... Anyway. What's your name? ( YEP time for a subject change )
no subject
He tries to ease the situation with a gentle smile. ]
I am Saga. And yours?
no subject
I guess it's sort of selfish to hope it's permanent. This isn't very many other people's home — so I suppose I'll say I wish it would vanish for the others, and stay real for me. ( and maybe Percy. )
Where are you from?
no subject
It is hard to accept it will be gone soon.
[ And turns back at her, considering for a moment in his reply. ]
My home is the Sanctuary of Goddess Athena, near the surroundings of Athens. I am one of her warriors, a Saint.
no subject
You're— ( her eyes widen with shock. ) You're one of my mom's warriors?!
( annnnd it's out of her mouth before she can stop herself. crap. )

Then you must celebrate for the occasion while you still can. For the memory of those times...
no subject
You-- You are her... [ ‘daughter... but... then, that sensation before was...‘ ]
[ keysmashing asdfghjkl. ]
no subject
dang it. )
Joking—! Joking, I was joking! Of course I'm not really her daughter. ( again, it left her lips before she had a chance to properly stop it. never before has she had to pretend she wasn't her mother's daughter. it was awkward and she honestly didn't like it. )
I mean, I'm... Usually a water nymph. Mm-hm. ( except not. and that wasn't a very believable lie, was it? crap. )

Saga can't help but stare at her. This is so surreal. Back at the Sanctuary, the Goddess' incarnation was practically a child -- a thirteen-year-old lady but still a child -- and now her daughter (despite she's from another world) is before him. Athena, who swore to sacrifice her human condition to protect the mortals. To have an universal love for humankind.
His expression is a saddened one. The pang of conscience remains in his heart and it won't go away for all he knows... ]

Saga shifts and kneels before the girl, head and gaze down. ]
Lady Annabeth.
no subject
( wait, what is he doing? what's going on? crap, what's happened here? her gaze follows him as he lowers himself to the ground and instantly she's on her feet, waving her hands to try and stop him. )
N, no — what are you doing? ( oh gods, what did he just call her? blushing horribly, she shakes her head with her hands now. )
no subject
His voice is gentle but firm and determined. ]
I know our worlds are different. And the Gods are different themselves as well. But you are my Goddess' daughter.
[ Head up and looking at her. ] As I made an oath to protect her, to die for her, now I make this oath to you.
no subject
( ffft, how did this happen? she's so flustered right now, words are so hard to form in this moment.
a saint.
of her mother's.
wants to protect her. )
Saga, you don't need to make that oath to me, I— I'm not—
no subject
I owe my Goddess so much. Even more than I deserve. [ Oh Goddess, he knows. ] But even so, I want to carry out said oath. She isn't here but you are. We don't know how many dangers there can be.
... Only if I may.
no subject
her lips tug into a thin, line and her brow furrows in concern. more than he deserved—? what did he mean by saying something like that? gods, if only she could talk to her mother, maybe she could...
...but then, the gods don't typically just appear whenever their children want or need them to. shifting her weight from one foot to the other a bit awkwardly, she gives him a gentle nod, giving in. )
A, Alright. Okay, I can't just tell you to not carry your oath, I know how important those are... ( still, it's a bit embarrassing. what does this mean, exactly? +1 knight at her side or something? )
I... Accept your oath.
no subject
I apologize. I wish I could have made this with my Cloth present. You may think I am joking because of my looks.
no subject
It's okay, I believe you if only because of how you didn't think I was crazy for saying Athena is my mom, actually.
( because mortals might have thought as much. )
no subject
Then we thought about the same. [ Now he feels more at ease. ] I was told my Goddess was beautiful even before taking a human form.
You are as well.
no subject
I don't know what she looks like in anything but her human form. They say that looking upon the Gods in their true forms will incinerate us from its intensity. But she's beautiful, and kind, and wise, and... ( okay, let's stop the fangirling of your own mother, Annabeth.
she blushes at his comment to her, though. )
Beautiful? Me? Hardly... But thanks anyway.
no subject
Indeed you are. And she-- [ Suddenly keeps quiet. Now that he thinks about it, he can't remember how Athena looked like. It's as if a black mist was covering his mind... How can that be possible?
He realizes the abrupt silence and offers Annabeth an apologetic smile. In compensation... ] There is a statue of Athena at the Sanctuary. Her face looks gentle and wise, she has wavy hair and is holding her shield in her left hand and Nike in her right.
no subject
I've seen that kind of statue before of mom, in museums. She's so amazing, I want to be just like her. I want to build things and help people and to train so I'm as wise in battle as she, and...
( ffft, more fangirling. okay, that's going to stop now. really. all done. )
no subject
I know you will be like her someday. And we can do something about the training part.

no subject
I will not be so lenient, so you have to be ready when the moment comes.
