Day Five: Hellhounds!

[the howls have been getting more and more frequent as the day has gone on. And now there is creepy barking and other evil dog noises. One might even see something in the shadows. It's a hellhound! The camp is under attack!

Heroes, bear arms! Or find a place to hide!]


[go forth and tag! Any location not mentioned, assume is a safe zone! Safe Zones (aka no battle): cabin | campfire | big house

Caution Zones (aka better not stay long): forest | mess hall ]

[Slowly advancing inwards.] Nice doggies. How about you just get on outta here and we don't have to make a mess.

[they take offense to being called "nice" and attack]

[Okay, not good. Clint duck-rolls out of the path of one of the hounds, bringing his bow up as he rises from that, shooting an arrow for one of the beasts' necks.

He might not have any of his trick shots, but his marksmanship was still damn good...]

[direct hit! The hellhound yelps and falls; its brothers ignore that and keep going]

[Okay, really not good. Clint's just going to get to his feet and start running...

Before he does that, though, he picks up a rock.] Hey! Fido! Follow me! [He pitches the rock at the nearest hound to make sure it follows him and not anyone else, before starting to run full pelt towards one of the walls.]

[Fido is just as bad as "nice" to them. The split off and go at him from two different sides]

[He intentionally slows down a bit as he nears the wall, making sure they're just the right distance away...

Before he runs up the wall a couple of steps, kicking off and backflipping. The second a hound's neck comes into view, another arrow is shot before Clint lands.]

[what's with the acrobatics? They just bark and leap at him anyway, snapping at his heels. And ignoring all fatalities of fallen hellhounds]

[And landing and taking off running in the other direction. Any wolf that snapped at his heel as he jumped would have gotten a boot to the face.]

Wow, tough crowd.

[hopefully he moved that boot pretty quick as the hellhound tries to bite at it]

[Clint is pretty particular about his footwear and the appendages in it. The beast in question will just get an arrow towards the face before Hawkeye takes off to running.]
