[Travel through the portal had disoriented her and the dark haired woman faltered in her step as she dashed across the lobby. She came to a stop on the polished floor, looking up and around her.]

Well, this is unexpected.

[Where was she? More importantly where was Adam worth? Helen couldn't place this interior from anywhere she'd been before, it felt...odd. Archaic yet new.

Come out Adam, it doesn't have to be this way. You don't realize what you're doing.

Then I am sorry that we both seemed to have miss the person we were after.

[Helen has an old world, for the Earth anyway, sort of manner to her, she is gracious even in apology.]

Still, I was far too careless. I tend to get caught up in my personal missions.

In Japan?

[She knew a bit of history and was not unfamiliar with that part of the world, but the name was common to many small villages as well as large sections of downtown Tokyo]

I know of the area, but not entirely well I'm afraid. Perhaps we should discuss it sometime, once I am more familiar with this place. I fear I am feeling out of sorts at the moment.
