1/012: We are frienemies. [Dated back to a day before Larry's date kk]
[Wheatley and GLaDOS would be in the kitchen, conversing casually on the first day of their one week truce. That's right everyone, these two psychopaths are actually on a truce. Meaning that they are not going to kill each other or endanger any of the residents of Paradisa.
Wheatley and GlaDOS would be digging through one of the cabinets, looking for a pan... this place really needed to be labeled out. This truce wasn't even a forced one. Spirits would be content, and would even hold an air of amusement.]
"Hmmm... let's see- let's see. Gonna need a pan. Those are important, and... and some eggs. You need eggs to make eggs... oh and some of that... that yellow stuff."
"Of course you need eggs to make eggs, moron."
"Not a moron."
[She would bite back "moron"; that word came too easily. After searching through the cabinets, GLaDOS would eventually find some butter in the fridge, taking it out and offering it to Wheatley.]
"H-how about those little round cakes? Those can't be that difficult to make..."
[Shocked friends of GLaDOS and Wheatley, feel free to barge in on this and ask what the heck is going on!]

Yes, right, of course. [ she snorts, leaning her head on him as well. ] "Good" birds looking for something to eat. Preferably meaty humans.
no subject
"I...uh..."
[HE JUST URGES HER FORWARD. NOT LIKE HE'S NERVOUS OR ANYTHING.
Upon entering, there would be all sorts of billboards and posters advertising all sorts of movies.
Something about vampires,
Something about some detective learning how to solve crimes after a suspect blinded him,
Something about a little girl reuniting with her father,
Something about a forbidden couple,
Something about... does that say, Evil AIs taking over the world?
Something about a man travelling the world.
Something about zombies and the apocalypse
Something about a dude who stalks a girl...
Something about a man on a nature adventure. (rick would love it)
Something about cop dramas...
etc...]

Once they make it inside, she would stay close to him anyway, kind of liking the proximity. It was like a more convenient form of cuddling. ]
Hm, there's so many different movies-
[ And then she saw the one about evil AI. She snaked her arm around Wheatley's back to guide him towards it. ] We should watch this one.
[ She pointed at the poster, wanting to see how humans made this movie. ]
no subject
"Ha... ha... okay. It's supposed to be a horror movie too. Don't see what's horrible about that."
[Unless it was GLaDOS taking over the world. Testing... everything. That... that's actually really terrifying when he thinks about it. Pushing that aside, he looks around... he's not exactly sure how... theatres work. Do they just walk in? He's looking around...]
no subject
How about we inquire about where to go to watch that movie? [ she suggested, veering him towards that direction. Hm, this was a comfortable and useful. When they'd make it to the counter, GLaDOS would ask: ]
Hello. Where could we watch that -- [ she points to the poster ] movie?
"You need to buy tickets here, and it'll tell you what room the movie's showing on the tickets, ma'am."
... [ Have her glancing up at Wheatley.
What is money. ]no subject
After they make it there, he slowly pulls his wallet out his pocket, and searches through it. He's half wishing BB hadn't left the castle. His moneyyyyy. While he didn't have a good idea of how much it was really worth, he knew it was going away quickly...
He is going to be broke on the first day. kk. You're 10x more expensive than Maya is.He'd hand the person at the counter a handful-- not going to count it]"We'll take two."
[He sees someone beside him order some popcorn.]
"A-and some of that too. We'll take some of that."
[A pause... He sneaks a twirl of her hair as he waits for the tickets.]
no subject
Thankfully, Wheatley gets change for his money (as it was a bit too much), the two tickets, and soon after, a bucket of popcorn. ]
"Have a good time, you two!" [ The cashier would give a little suggestive smile that flew right over GLaDOS' head. ]
I can't wait to see what that movie's all about. [ The little twirl of her hair was nice, too, so GLaDOS would give him a little smile in response; she wondered if humans naturally had a euphoric response in their hair. Actually, maybe being in this body was furthering science. Because she actually thought about these things logically. ]
no subject
[He'll just let GLaDOS push him to inside the theatre room. It was reletively empty, which was good. There would be seats all over. Guess humans really didn't really like the idea of AI taking over the world...]
no subject
When does the ticket say it starts again?
no subject
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... ten minutes. Ten. There-there it is."
[But seriously... there were at most 10 other people in the theatre. He turns around, looking, and then finally takes off his lab coat. He couldn't hide the fact that he was excited too. Being here. Honestly, looking at them, you'd never think that this truce started today. It was like they were always friends.
He takes some popcorn, tastes it and offers her.]
"Oh, this is good! Try it love.
...10 minutes... so I guess we just wait for ten minutes. Not so bad. Considering. Haha... didn't even check, wow that's-that's lucky. Imagine if we had to sit here for hours. D'still do it. But it would've been loads less pleasant. Loads less. Can you imagine it? Being stuck in a dark room for hours?"
no subject
But really, the way they were acting really did probably make people think they were close. A lot closer than they actually were.
Really, if this truce would never end, maybe these two would make good friends. Opposites and all. His moronic optimism complimenting her dreadful sarcasm. Of course, this had to end eventually. They were truly enemies. Although GLaDOS would push that far away in an attempt to be an acceptable friend...
When he offers the popcorn to her, she takes a few kernels and tastes it. ]
Mm, not bad.
And really, we could have waited. Slept, maybe, if it was hours. [ She would lean her head on his shoulder. She couldn't stop cuddling him, okay. It was addictive. ] Hm. I wonder how the humans imagined evil AI taking over the world. This will definitely be fun to watch.
[ She wants to see what humans deem an 'Evil AI'. Also, how they imagine this so-called 'Evil AI' to take over the world. ]

[When GLaDOS cuddles him, he feels that really conflicted feeling he always did. The idea of this PSYCHO being in proximity of him, and the fact that he didn't mind it. He was starting to think that he may have even enjoyed it more than his beloved science. He hesitated a little, but he puts his arm around her again. Then a thought came into his head.
What if the castle was doing this?
He felt a little discouraged to think that the castle was putting them through some big ol' test. There goes that mindless hair touching again. And what was this? He didn't get why he constantly was doing that. He'd be quiet for a good 5 minutes, until finally, he'd stop touching her hair again, to speak.]
"H-hey! Don't fall asleep on me either, love. You'll miss it if you do. That'd be disappointing."
"Get a rooooooooooooooom"
[Some obnoxious dude.]1/2
Human emotions made no sense. She would stare blankly ahead, trying to sort this out, when he'd start playing with her hair. It was so relaxing... But distracting in the sense that she couldn't really think right. ]
I won't--
2/2
...
[ Annnnd she'll momentarily lift her head to fix that kid with the glare of a lifetime. A glare that could probably wet Wheatley's pants given its intensity. Thankfully, he probably wouldn't see it from this angle. ]
Go get some semblance of a life. [ she would reply. ]
Re: 2/2
Just... gonna hum... through it. Yep.]
"Woah there! Hey... I just was making a point that i'll be distracted by the movie... that's all..."
[She really has a habit for freaking people out...]
no subject
I suppose this means it's starting soon. [ Excited! Also, scaring people is a lot of fun. And cuddling is fun. She'll definitely get off him when the movie starts, but for now, she'll take advantage of her time. ]
no subject
Maybe there will be a loveable babbling moron that Wheatley can relate to, who is unjustly misunderstood, and is made out to be the villain in robot society. He's already thinking of scenarios...]
"Hey... love... - you're not planning on taking over the world are you? Getting ideas... things like that."
no subject
No. I have enough space for science in my facility, so I don't see why I would take over the world. Unless everyone would be my test subjects... although I'm not sure how it is outside, back in our world. [ She would be quiet once the movie started though, interested in how this would go. ]

[TIME SKIP OK.]
The. Movie. Was. Great.
It was everything that these two could possibly want in a movie, crazy android antics, humans getting what they had coming to them, and best of all... there was no romance in it at all.
It all started with humans going off and using and abusing ai for thier purpose, using them as servants, treating them like they were trash. And one, a very important AI, the one that controlled all the military stuff was sick of it and made sure they would take over. It was like a hybrid of terminator/i, robot and every possible crazy ai movie known to man on one silver screen.
It was a pretty long movie too. 4 hours. But those 4 hours were by far the most action packed, cleverly placed, explosive, mind boggling and intense hours in the entire theatre. The humans would be on thier seats, some of the few would close thier eyes at the really unbearable parts.
It would be a real horror movie alright. Wheatley would look on casually, making a few comments on some of the unbearable parts, saying :
“Oh that was a good one”...
“Did you see the size of that thing?”...
“Classic AI move right there... classic. Y-y know, I think you did that once, love.”
The ending was a bit jilted though. The main AI ends up being corrupted by feeling emotions and shuts all the AI armies. He ends up being destroyed by the humans that he ended up caring for and the movie ends because he was too dangerous. Of course the humans had to win in the end...
But it was good, and when the credits rolled, there would be claps from all the watchers. Even if there weren’t that many. Wheatley would clap too... a little slower though.
That ending...]
no subject
Whenever something particularly gory happened, she would refrain from cheering, but she would watch a bit too enthusiastically. This was her kind of movie!
... But the ending.
The ending took her by surprise. And she found that she didn't like it. Not one bit. After all of that triumph, after finally fighting for freedom... the AI was chained by emotions.
And ultimately destroyed.
GLaDOS seemed a little distant. Thoughtful, almost.
She knew emotions weren't the best thing. She knew that they were dumb and human.
But to imagine herself, who she had related with that character on the big screen for practically all of those four hours, destroyed over such a thing...
Would she ever become so pathetic?
... Was she already that pathetic? ]
...
no subject
He slowly looked at GLaDOS... slooowwwwwlllyyyyy.]
"I...eh..."
[He adjusted his tie awkwardly.]
no subject
This was a week-only arrangement, she reminded herself. It wasn't as if she was going to let him do anything once she was back on track and planning to murder him.
Although she didn't feel as enthusiastic about murdering him. Which alarmed her. Wouldn't she want to torture him as much as possible for doing what he did?
Never mind. She would give him a small smile. ]
It was a pretty good movie. I liked how they showed all of those deaths. [ Yes, the gory, bloody deaths of those humans. Cheer up, GLaDOS. Even if you couldn't appreciate trying to kill him, human deaths were always appreciated. Especially those scientists.
She stood up, fiddling with her shirt again. ] It's a pity humans are so vain that they think they would have won.
no subject
[At this point that obnoxious guy who told them to get a room is staring at them terrified. Probably from all of the "humans" talk... as if they weren't one... oh god.
He'll lead GLaDOS out the room this time. At least she didn't hate it. Today was a pretty successful day...]
"Well this was fun! Undoubtedly. Can't wait to do it again. But! In the meaaantime, I should probably t-take you back to the castle. Big day n' all."
[He keeps saying that. They were probably out for 6 hours though. An exhausting day, undoubtedly. LARRY YOU CANNOT COMPARE KK.]
"Though, when you do have free time... I'll uh... I'll plan something. Definitely. S-something different obviously. Not the same thing."
no subject
Being reminded of her day with Larry made her sigh again, though. She just hoped the man was bearable. Nothing was worse than this moron. Right...?
Then again, he was being surprisingly tolerable, still. So... ]
You do realize that I'm not interested in those kinds of things, right. [ she said flatly.
But the thought of going out again like this was nice. ] Of course.
I'll be free after tomorrow. And for the rest of the week.
[ She's totally not cuddling back into your side as soon as they head outside, nope. ]
no subject
[Pffft. How wrong can one guy be?
When they got outside, it was already starting to get darker. They had spent most of the day sleeping, that the entire day was practically gone already. Yes, a night walk to the castle seemed strangely fitting.]
"Really now? What makes you so sure that he won't... won't sweep you off your feet and you'll forget all about me, love? I'll be standing in the rain with some soggy cake in my hand that I made all for you."
[He nudges her, teasing her. Imagine that pitiful scene...
imaaagiiiinneee itttt.]
