001 - Apostles Creed (Backdated to Sunday morning)
[Connor clears his throat before speaking. He's still not sure about this whole 'talking through the journal' thing, but he's willing to give it a shot. After another moment's thought his smooth Irish brogue flows through the journal.]
So my brother'n I jus' got 'ere last week 'n we were wonderin' if there was a church here. Even'f there's no one givin' sermons or anythin' like that. We'd jus' like somewhere t'go. Haven't had much've a chance t'explore ourselves, yet, so I figured I'd jus' ask.
((ooc: Open for the journal or anyone who might be in the clinic. Expect threadjacking from Murphy. :D))

Aye, it's basically reading and writing, but you can use filters. Sorta like using a different frequency on a radio, or ringing their number.
[Filtered to Murphy and Connor MacManus]
This way no-one can see what you're writing apart from the recipient of the filter.

D'we get decoder rings, too? Pens wi' invisible ink?

If you want to have your wee secret code, go ahead. But the filter is more for not spamming the rest of the castle.

We've already got one've those. Well, most've one. Not my fault you Scots can't speak properly.
So how d'you make it go, again? [because he only filtered, he didn't actually explain how it happens]

Not surprisin' since they've all got them wee little skirts on, innit? They're all a buncha little girls!
[He's listening to Carson's response, really. He's just... laughing as he listens.]

[Carson coughs.] Irish and Scottish Gaelic are similar in phoentics, so consider your code partially cracked, lads.
[Now, onto business]
Filters go the same. You can either speak it or write it, but anything under that filter is only for the intended recipient.

... Anythin'? Really? ... Even if someone's readin' it over their shoulder or in th' same room listenin' in?

And, no. If you're speaking, people'll be able to hear you if they're in the same room, but you can always write in the filter. Same if they're looking over your shoulder when writing.

Jim? Who's Jim? :P
[Connor nods. Unsurprisingly he was thinking the same thing as his brother. At the very least they wouldn't be limited to talking to EVERYONE at once any time they opened the book.]
It's not me!

Looks like this when it's in place. It's handy.
GDIT autocorrect
[he grabs a pencil and scribbles]
[Carson]
Like that?
