Hey guys. Did you know? Paradisa's moon is actually blue... you think I would have noticed that, but I guess I just either forgot, or I just stopped looking at the moon seriously. It's actually really pretty, but if you think about it... why is it blue? Is the moon itself blue, or is it caused by some weird reflection coming off of the earth.
Oh, that reminds me, I can't remember... is the sky blue because it's reflecting off the blue of the ocean, or is the ocean blue because it's reflecting the blue of the sky? I know it's one of the two, but I can't remember which. I was thinking about it while I was watching the sky earlier, and it was really bugging me. So if anyone can help me with that, that would be great.
[but Maya, why have you been sitting here and staring at the sky all day? Well, all of the wishes that she's accumulated over the last three years have caught up with her, and she's been stuck on the roof for pretty much the whole day. Over the course of the day she's slowly inched her way over to her journal, so that's a step in the right direction. But, of course, Maya being Maya, it's not like she's going to admit that her energy is all sapped, so you get to listen to her inane ramblings :) Congratulations]
Another thing, where do constellations come from? People just made them up in older times by looking for shapes in the stars, right? So... doesn't that mean that anyone could make up a constellation? If that's the case, I know what's going to be my next project.
[ooc: feel free to respond either over the journal or in person... if you're hanging out on the roof]

I don't know. I've had this once before, and I'm having it again. It must be some weird human... malfunction. Thankfully, it isn't crippling, but still.

Well! What you need is bed rest, tea, and soup!

[ The instructions make sense. ] It's good that I learned how to make tea recently, then, is it?
[ Her voice is amused, and maybe the tiniest bit wistful. But it's hard to pick up, considering she's congested and her voice already sounds funny. Sniffle. ] And I suppose rest is in order.
How about you? Are you 'sick' at all?
no subject
[teeeeechnically she's not actually sick, so she doesn't feel like it's a lie when she flops her hand around and says] Nah, I think I'm okay.
no subject
[ Yep, her tone of voice is still amused. But she's still unsure about Maya. Hm. ] You've barely moved. You're usually full of energy.
no subject
[oh right, that.... her shoulders kind of make the most half-hearted nudge that could kind of be considered a shrug] I'm just a bit tired. I'll be back on my feet in to time.

I am resting! Like I said, this is definitely one of the top most restful places in all of Paradisa.

[ Because that's how she rolls. ]

Alright, fair's fair. I'll take a nap up here or something.

Said pillow did appear, but GLaDOS cringed a little as she suddenly felt her headache worsen about tenfold. What was this? Usually, wishing didn't cost physical energy...
Making sure to keep a straight face though, she would forcibly lift up Maya's head and stick the pillow under it. ] There. Now sleep.

[yes, that is her fretting about you as you give her a pillow D:]

It's a little broken at one of the seams, but thankfully, nothing's spilling out. Although she's pretty sure her whole body just dropped a thousand degrees. Shiver. Even if she's burning up.
So she joins Maya, lying down next to her and staring up at the sky. ] There.

Um, castle! I'd like a big blanket! [and with that a big old blanket drops over the two of them. Bluuuuh, now she's' feeling more tired, but FAIR'S FAIR >D]

You'd better sleep too. [ She's not about to just fall asleep next to her if all of her efforts go to waste! ]
no subject
Alright... thanks for the pillow.

So it probably took her about a whole of a few minutes before she was truly asleep, conked out because of her sickness. ]
