[ Thankfully, GLaDOS catches on to this and as soon as she pecks him back, she lets go of him to catch their daughter, so she would barrel into her arms. ]

We're fine. [ she replied, before turning a little pink at the mention of people looking for them, and all of those questions after. ] And... no, we didn't fight a bear.

[At the sight of CC, Wheatley couldn't supress a grin. He too turns a light shade of blue when he is asked about his face, wiping it with his sleeve. Didn't do much, just pushed it around.]

[While she was in GLaDOS's arms, he gave his daughter a quick kiss on the forehead.]

[He shoots GLaDOS a look... as if to say you totally fought a bear... /wink wink.]

[[CC jumps right into her mother's arms, and giggles when she gets a kiss from her father.]]

Why were you in a boat? Is that why no one could find you?
Oooh! Oooh! Mommy! Daddy! Can we play outside? Can we? Can we play in the sand?
Can we build sandcastles????

[ Have a blushing glare in return, Wheatley. First of all, you are not a bear, you are a stick. ~~AN ATTRACTIVE ONE, BUT STILL A STICK~~...

GLaDOS made sure to hold her steady, always a little overwhelmed by all the questions, although she would propel through them as always. ]

Your father wanted to take me out on the boat for fun. And yes, that's why no one could find us.

[ She would glance at Wheatley after the other questions, before looking back to her daughter. She had a bit of a weakness when it came to CC. ]

Do you want to join us in making sandcastles? [ she would ask Wheatley. ]

Sandcastles! Sandcastles... those... those sound fun. Dd'love to.

[He nodded and put his hands in his pockets. The only thing that was better than being with GLaDOS, is being with CC and GLaDOS. His family.]

What do we need for those? Shovels... buckets... those-those- little flags...?

[[CC throws her hands up before she hugs her mother's neck. GLaDOS must have been good at this, CC is incredibly squirmy.]]

[ GLaDOS is doing her best to keep her held steady... CC you squirmy kid. ]

Of course. I'm pretty sure I packed those things, actually. Shall we go get them?

[ She makes sure to hoist CC up a little before beginning to move to their cabin. ]

Good idea, good idea... thinking ahead! Always a good thing, always being prepared.

[Wheatley wrapped his arm around GLaDOS's waist, walking alongside her.]

Can we make a giannnntttt sandcastle? Can we make the biggest sandcastle in the entire universe???????

[ GLaDOS chuckled a little at her ambition. ]

Of course. No other sandcastle will ever compare. [ she replied, giving the top of CC's head a little peck before they finally got to their cabin, heading inside.

She offered CC up to Wheatley, needing her hands to find the buckets and shovels... ]

[Wheatley would take CC in his arms, laughing a little nervously at both of their ambition.... they were just making sandcastles... the normal kinds where you stack buckets together... right?

He had a feeling... that may have not been the case.]

I... How big...e-exactly do you have in mind?

The biggest! Bigger than anything in the worrrllldddd!!!

[[She throws her hands up again.]]

Daddy, why are you so tall? Will I be tall too? Mommy, will I be tall like daddy? What are you doing? Are you getting the buckets? Mommy, why are you wearing daddy's labcoat? What's that? Ooooohh...

[She's squirming and trying to crawl on Wheatley's shoulders.]]

[ She does her best to hold in another chuckle as she digs through her things. ]

... Maybe not as tall... And yes. I'm getting the buckets. And I'm wearing your father's lab coat because I was cold and he gave it to me. [ Nope, not explaining the whole part where they went swimming.

Eventually, she finds the buckets, shovels and things. ]

...Ahhh... love! Love... love... stop that!

[He's trying to get CC to settle down.]

D-do you want to ride on my shoulders?

[Wheatley grins and looks at GLaDOS as he grabs CC and crouches a little as if to put her on his shoulders.]

G-great! Shall we go back then, or is there anything else you want?

[Wheatley's eyes catch a reflection, and that's when he sees the smeared lipstick... just as he is putting her on his shoulders, he sets CC down for a moment.]

Uhhhh... just a moment! D-daddy... has... has to go wash his face...! On-one moment... just... a second will be enough.

[He says, turning a light shade of blue.]

[[CC is confused when Wheatley sets her down. What was wrong with him? Was he okay? CC skips over to her mother and latches onto her leg.]]

Is daddy okay?

[ She snorts in amusement, cheeks turning pink. She should really get to brushing her hair as well...... ]

He's fine, don't worry. He's just cleaning up. [ She pats CC's head affectionately with her free hand, not holding the bag of supplies. ] And we need to get you cleaned up, too. You didn't brush your hair this morning, did you?

[ She inquired. ]

[He's calling from the bathroom.]

Neither did you love. You must be all grimy from the salt water... maybe you should take a shower... get yourself cleaned up...

[He says that in the most suggestive tone, and casually pokes his head outside...

Oh, wait... CC is there, isn't she. He innocently adds before he gets any glare from GLaDOS.]

Just a thought. Just a thought.

[And then... slowly... just goes back into the bathroom. Naive kids are the best kids.]

[[CC shakes her head.]]

Nope! I woke up and I looked for you! And then I found you!

[[She looks at Wheatley when he is speaking, and then eventually looks up at GlaDOS with her little inquiring eyes.]]

[ GLaDOS just kind of..................... gives him a glare indeed, blushing, before clearing her throat and looking to CC. ]

Maybe you should, too, then. [ she retorted, before herding CC into the bathroom, going to grab her hairbrush. ]

But first, we'll fix you up. [ She said to her daughter, carefully removing her pigtails and wrapping the elastic bands around her arm before starting to brush her hair. ]

[Nothing Wheatley does is relevant. He is in the bathroom washing up.]

[[CC nods excitedly, though there are times where she tries to turn around to look at her mother, which can make it difficult to brush her hair.]]

Do you like it here?

[ GLaDOS tries to hold CC in place with one hand, used to her hyperactive tendencies as she continues to brush her hair. ]

It's pretty nice, [ she admitted with a small smile. ] What do you think?

[ She looked up to Wheatley, as well. ]

I like it! Can we do this more often? If we do this more often we'll go to lots of places! Can we go to lots of places? How many places are there?

[[The thought made her excited and she begins to clap.]]

[He's just leaning on the sink, washing his face.]

You-you know.. that's a great idea. I'd love to do it more often.
The seaa... the sun... the sky, the... family... Wonder why we didn't do it more often. Even having us together alone is just fine.

[ GLaDOS gathered CC's hair to start making her ponytails again. ]

It would be nice, actually. [ she nodded a little. ] We could try somewhere different next time. Maybe something more tropical, or even the city.

[ She was already brainstorming ideas as she made the first ponytail, very neatly. ] We could make a list of places once we get home.
