[ It's a beautiful day, and what better way to spend it than celebrating GLaDOS and Wheatley's marriage?

Well, there are probably other ways. But regardless, there has been a small celebration set up for their vow renewal ceremony. There's a lot of folding chairs set up everywhere so there's (comfortable?) seating for a good amount of people. There are also some tables hanging around, with a decent spread of food, mostly borrowed from the resort's awesome food supply.

Everything's outside, so there's lots of room! Feel free to mill about. Watch the vows being renewed, eat some food, talk to the happy married couple or even dance (there are some sweet classical and generally calm tunes playing, though, so if anything, there won't be a lot of fist-pumping going on)... go ahead and walk by without a care, too. GLaDOS might appreciate the lack of a crowd. ]

(( ooc: This is the only section which only the people involved in the actual renewal process (Wheatley, GLaDOS, Phoenix, etc.) are the only people allowed to comment! Every other section is fine for everyone, though. ))

[When it came to the telltale signs of being nervous, at this moment, the lanky bloke had all of them and more. The jittery hands, which constantly pulled at his collar could not find a proper place to rest. He had too many thoughts... it was just a vow renewal and yet, he caught himself with just as much nervousness as he had when the artificial memories gave them their previous wedding.

He kept giving quick glances to Nick, flashing a nervous grin at his brother whenever he found that he was looking.

Wheatley was looking a bit more formal today than usual. His hair slicked back, tamer than ever, in a clean cut black suit with a blue tie.

He was quiet. Only making the occasional noise to clear his throat.]

[Phoenix, dressed up in a considerably nicer-than-usual navy blue suit, is pretty nervous himself; he's definitely never done anything like officiating a vow renewal ceremony before, but it's not like it's a real marriage--that's already been taken care of!--so he's trying his best to remain calm.

He nudges his very anxious brother and gives him a reassuring thumbs-up, whispering to him.]

You'll be fine!

[[CC can hardly keep still, clutching a basket of flowers. This was all so exciting, and she bounced in place with eagerness.

When she sees her cue, she begins to skip down the aisle with all the energy in the world, taking handfuls of flower pedals in her basket and throwing them every which way. CC, in truth didn't know what she was doing, but it's fun to throw flowers!]]

[Unlike the other male participants, Dhaos opted to wear something a bit different. He makes no effort to hide the smile on his face as he leads his dear elder sister down the aisle, for today is a happy occasion, even if it's merely a renewal of vows.]

[ Now that all of that business is done with, how about a bite? Of course, you could just pop in solely for the food, too... ]

[Renee isn't sure why she even came. Despite being somehow related to the two being celebrated, she didn't know either of them too well. And she was almost certain she really didn't like GLaDOS.

And yet she's here, standing by the punch table and watching whatever poor souls that had the courage to get up and dance. Hopefully something amusing will happen that she can get video off and show off at every family event in the future. That thought made her smile.]

[ GLaDOS was still a bit flustered from having to speak all of those vows in such company, but when she noticed Renee at the punch table...

She would walk to her, with a look of actual confusion marring her features. She wasn't sure if she wanted to talk, but hey. ]

I wasn't expecting you to come. [ She doesn't even sound mean. It must be because she's embarrassed. ]

[Renee notices her expression and puts on a pleasant one of her own. It's supposedly to be a happy occasion, so she won't ruin it for a well placed jab.]

Well, I had no where else to be. And who could turn down free food?

[ She nods, a little stiffly. It's easy to tell being nice, coupled with what just happened, made GLaDOS really out of her element. ]

That's true.

Either way, this is all a little crazy. [ She really wasn't expecting to do this when she came on this trip... ]

[Have a groom with the biggest smile on his face making a beeline right for you. He's never looked happier.]

You're here! Hello! I... It's good to see you here! How are you?

[She can't help but smile back at him. It's infectious.]

I'm doing good. It was a lovely ceremony. Congratulations...or something. I'm not sure what the protocol for these things are.

[He's still grinning; fidgety but it's in the best form that a bloke could be nervous.]

Neither am I, If... If I must be honest. Never... actually did this before. Glad you came. You're actually one of the few family members that I don't mind popping up, actually.

[He just said you're not annoying... yayyyyyy.]

[Likely for similar reasons as Dhaos was roped into leading the bride down the isle earlier: moral support. If anyone were to ask, he'd fully admit that now the important part was over with, he's hanging out by the food so that people are less likely to attempt to engage him in idle chit-chat.

...That, and there are strawberries dipped in chocolate.]

[Seriously, Dhaos. The food area is definitely not the place to avoid idle chit-chat.

..So, here's a prosecutor. All bored and missing his little brother like mad, he reaches for a strawberry. He doesn't note the hand already there, so his hand collides with the hand of the other guest, perhaps reaching for the very same piece.]


..Ah, I beg your pardon...

[He follows the logic that if he's stuffing his face, nobody will expect him to say anything back.

Intent on piling his plate as high with the strawberries as he can without the plate breaking under the weight, Dhaos doesn't even flinch when their hands collide. After adding that last bit of delicious fruit, he looks back to Edgeworth.]

It's no trouble.

[He blinks as recognition hits him.]

Ah. You're Phoenix's roommate, correct?

[This may be the one guy who says that with no underlying meaning to it.]

[Because you can't say no to this face that's currently being stuffed with finger foods.]

[A YELL FROM ACROSS THE ROOM AS THE GROOM ENTERS IN WITH HIS ARMS OPEN, WALKING TOWARDS HIS BROTHER.]

[He laughs as he calls out.]

[Larry is standing around looking slightly bummed out. Because seriously, the woman he used to be in love with just got married to his brother. Again. None of his best efforts to prevent the re-marriage worked. You should comfort him (at your own risk).]

[ After the vow renewal, there's always the pleasure of celebrating, and what better way than to dance? Although the music is kind of slow. Hope you young'uns don't mind! ]
