[thwarting]

...You must have been speaking to Crowley, correct?

[assassino]

Possibly; I did not get a name.

[thwarting]

Rather smarmy, speaks with a slight hiss, serpent of Eden?

[assassino]

[A long pause to consider.]

Yes, yes, and... if that is true, he did not mention it.

[thwarting]

I think that's rather rude. He informs you of my... allegiance and then fails to mention his own.

[assassino]

[Sorry, Ezio is really distracted by something, suddenly. He sounds eager and panicked rolled into one, because something just struck him.]

If he is the serpent of Eden, then it is real... and I have a very important question for him. Perhaps one that you can answer, as well, though I am not familiar with any Aziraphale...

[thwarting]

[His tone takes on a quite huffy sound, rather annoyed he never seemed to make it into the bible - with the exception of that one edited copy.]

The Tree of Knowledge, and the apple that tempted Eve -- what happened to the tree afterwards? Were there other apples on the tree?

[thwarting]

Hm, let me see... there were definitely more apples, I always thought it looked quite a fruitful tree.

[He pauses for a moment, waiting for appreciation for his amazing pun.]

[He feels almost panicked, heart pounding in his chest so hard he feels like it might burst.]

So it was plentiful! But tell me: is there any chance at all that someone may have taken the excess before God banished Adam and Eve, or that the apples left Eden and passed to Earth?

[thwarting]

It's possible, I suppose.

[He doesn't see why he's asking, any apples that had survived would be long rotted by now.]

[assassino]

[Oh god. On his end, he's clutching the neck of the bag containing the Apple like it could vanish at any moment. Is that what he's holding?]

Would this Crowley know more about the apples worked? How they gave Adam and Eve knowledge?

[thwarting]

I don't think so, his expertise was never the apple. More the temptation, to be honest.
