Maybe it's because I've never had a significant other, but I honestly do not see the point in Valentine's Day. And people have told me in the future it is far more commercialized. If you truly care about someone, shouldn't you show this at every opportunity and not just one day a year?

I understand everyone likes to feel appreciated, but perhaps I'm too logical in this. I think I would rather something personal. But then I've also never been on a date. I have yet to even consider the psychological aspect of an intimate relationship like that.

Perhaps I shall look into that as well. [Because she needs a break between reading biochem technology books and learning computer code.]
