[ooc: Forward dated to tomorrow morning/afternoon]

[The Five: The Knight, The Dragon, The Bard, The Wizard, and the Princess] [I.E. the people mentioned here]

My Lords. My Lady. [Nevermind the unlikelihood of a wizard, a bard, or a dragon being a lord. Better overshoot the titles than undershoot them.]

Your titles were discovered in a book, itself found under strange circumstances, that told of the history of the castles of Cair Paradisa, Libet, and the surrounding areas. If it would not trouble you overmuch, I would have word with you on the subject.

[Action for the library]

[She really should have given up on finding anything useful in this library by now. But, as they say, hope springs eternal.

So once again, you may find Galadriel searching through the stacks. Books on Paradisa or the the Five mentioned above would be lovely, but she’s aware that she’s unlikely to find them. No, most of the books in her pile are… not the sort that you would expect the Lady of Light to be reading. Dark Magic. Specifically, the type of magic fueled by human souls and emotions. If your world has such magic, you may well notice a familiar text among the titles.

Know thy enemy and so forth.

Still, this sort of thing isn’t pleasant and she’s not altogether certain that she wants others reading her thoughts on the subject, so she’s fallen back into the old habit of taking notes in Quenya using the Tengwar script.

Of course, every so often she stops and sets the books aside. The subject matter is disturbing and she finds that she can’t delve too deeply for too long. Approach? Question her about her motives? Ask about the strange writing? All of the above?]

[ A touch yes. And perhaps even a little unnerving with the way she was staring. ]

Like a mother has no reason to fear her child, I have no reason to fear Rhaegal.
draca: (apres moi le deluge)

[ Unearthly is definitely a word Daenerys would use to describe this woman. She is almost something Dany would expect to see in a fever dream. ]

He is. [ She smiles, caressing the dragon softly. He all but purrs in response. ]

I can understand your surprise my lady, dragons in my own land have been thought to be dead for over a hundred years. However when alive they only kept company with my family, I have heard of no others who managed to tame one.

draca: ((oh) let me tell you; i am)

[ It feels natural to her, she is their mother, they drank of her milk and she cares for them as such. ]

Why were they slain?
draca: (all the way from where we came)

[personal profile] draca 2012-08-03 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
[ Rhaegal, as if understanding the conversation, flattens his wings closer to himself and lowers his head. ]

I can assure you my dragons are nothing like those of your land.
draca: (but my knees were far too weak)

[ Out of everything this woman said to her, there is one thing that sticks to the forefront of her mind. It turns her for a spin, eyes widening in confusion. How is that possible? ]

Eight thousand years, my lady? [ She can think of no way that any human could survive for such along time. ]
draca: (i'm pulled toward)

You are not human. [ That explains how unearthly beautiful this woman is.

Gathering herself she lifts her chin. ]

Well met, Lady Galadriel. I am Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, first of her name, Mother of Dragons, the Unburnt, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, and the Rightful Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men.

If it pleases you, I would have you address me as Khaleesi.
draca: (i stayed alive)

[ And future will have her collecting more, like pokemon.

Pleased, she smiles a tiny smile. Rhaegal lifts his head again, shifting in his perch. Daenerys turns her attention the books, forehead furrowing slightly. ]

The books you are ready seem heavy.
draca: (these dreams like ashes float away)

[ It unnerves her nonetheless, having dealt with heavy magic herself before. ]

So it is true it feasts on our souls?
draca: (i'm not my own)

[ Sanity she has, gods be good. ]

You have doubts?
draca: (it was wide; wide open)

[personal profile] draca 2012-08-09 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
I imagine it is difficult to see it for yourself, the castle... feasting.
draca: (breaker of chains.)

[personal profile] draca 2012-08-10 10:53 am (UTC)(link)
It is hard to be surprised. This castle would want it's prisoners discovering so much about it that they can free themselves.
draca: (we found a street)

[personal profile] draca 2012-08-11 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
[ Whatever, whatever, she don't know about your amazingness Galadriel. ]

So you cannot cease digging for the truth.
draca: (caught your fancy eye)
