[ooc: Forward dated to tomorrow morning/afternoon]
[The Five: The Knight, The Dragon, The Bard, The Wizard, and the Princess] [I.E. the people mentioned here]
My Lords. My Lady. [Nevermind the unlikelihood of a wizard, a bard, or a dragon being a lord. Better overshoot the titles than undershoot them.]
Your titles were discovered in a book, itself found under strange circumstances, that told of the history of the castles of Cair Paradisa, Libet, and the surrounding areas. If it would not trouble you overmuch, I would have word with you on the subject.
[Action for the library]
[She really should have given up on finding anything useful in this library by now. But, as they say, hope springs eternal.
So once again, you may find Galadriel searching through the stacks. Books on Paradisa or the the Five mentioned above would be lovely, but she’s aware that she’s unlikely to find them. No, most of the books in her pile are… not the sort that you would expect the Lady of Light to be reading. Dark Magic. Specifically, the type of magic fueled by human souls and emotions. If your world has such magic, you may well notice a familiar text among the titles.
Know thy enemy and so forth.
Still, this sort of thing isn’t pleasant and she’s not altogether certain that she wants others reading her thoughts on the subject, so she’s fallen back into the old habit of taking notes in Quenya using the Tengwar script.
Of course, every so often she stops and sets the books aside. The subject matter is disturbing and she finds that she can’t delve too deeply for too long. Approach? Question her about her motives? Ask about the strange writing? All of the above?]

Stupid animal!
[ The rule of maintaining silence in a library apparently doesn't apply to them. ]
no subject
Daro!
[Sindarin for "stop," naturally. The tongue usually has a great effect on animals, whether they were raised hearing it or not. In Paradisa, it's about 50/50. But it's worth a try.]

Chasing cats is nothing compared to chasing a playful wolf.
She tries to take her journal back, but Nymeria turns her head away. ]
That is not yours! You— [ She falls silent abruptly when she gets a good look at Galadriel. Her mouth drops open. ]

Interesting reading selection, my lady.

Interesting is one word. Sickening is another. It is fortunate I am blessed with a strong stomach.
[She'll set down her pen and turn to face him.] You are aware, I assume, of the text that was found in that alternate realm?
no subject
[He doesn't bother replying to the first part. Of course it's sickening. But he'll nod at the second.]
I've heard of it.

She's got a couple of random books in her arms, all of the fiction sort. She approaches slowly, tapping one of the shelves to indicate her presence. ]
Hello, Galadriel!

I could use a moment of distraction, if you would indulge me.
no subject
Okay! I was worried I might be interrupting something at first.

[So, he's scouring the aisles for something new when he spots the very pretty lady walking along the stacks like he is. But what interests him even more is the strange writing on the notes in her hands- it almost looks like art itself, the way it winds across the pages.]
[Don't mind the strange-looking guy with the tattered coat and bright purple hair wandering over, Galadriel. He means no harm.]
Oh...that's very pretty! Your writing, I mean.

A little light reading, Lady Galadriel?
no subject
"Light" is hardly the word for it. [A pause] Forgive me, but would you remind me of your name? [Oh, you're remembering right, Galadriel. It's just strange.]

Action - Allllll the CR :3
Thus the reason why she is currently rooting though the shelves for new arrivals and old favorites. By the time she notices Galadriel, Dairine already has a handful selected. Grinning, she walks over.]

Once she was convinced her dragons were in no immediate danger she deceived to venture out, the bond between them is strong, if danger were to befall them she would feel it.
With the bronze-and-green dragon, Rhaegal, perched on her shoulder she walks through the library. Eyes wide with wonder despite the level mask she keeps. She hasn't seen this many books in a long time, it amazes her. The information that is stored here, the stories. Tales of all sorts.
It is simply beautiful. ]

She doesn't say anything at first- simply watches from afar for a time. Perhaps it shouldn't be strange to her, to see a woman so comfortable and confident with a dragon on her shoulder; one of her dearest friends here is a dragon, after all. But there's still a part of her that can't imagine allowing that creature to be so close to her, even such a small one. A part that still keenly remembers the fires of the First Age.
Which makes her wonder- who is this young woman? What is her tale? She remains in her seat, but her gaze is heavy. It would be surprising if Daenerys did not feel it.]

Black magic.
And eventually, slowly closing up his graphic novel, he just has to lean over from his seat and look over the titles of the various books. Most have none, most are impossible to read, one mentions something about Cthulhu and he's fucking skipping on past that one at a brisk and panicked pace. One is an obnoxious bright yellow book reading "The Grimdark Black Arts for Dummies". So on, so forth, so much and so dark]
Not sure if practising sorceress, or just really morbidly curious.

Hm. Odd books for a Lady of Light to be reading.
