Your titles were discovered in a book, itself found under strange circumstances, that told of the history of the castles of Cair Paradisa, Libet, and the surrounding areas. If it would not trouble you overmuch, I would have word with you on the subject.

[She really should have given up on finding anything useful in this library by now. But, as they say, hope springs eternal.

So once again, you may find Galadriel searching through the stacks. Books on Paradisa or the the Five mentioned above would be lovely, but she’s aware that she’s unlikely to find them. No, most of the books in her pile are… not the sort that you would expect the Lady of Light to be reading. Dark Magic. Specifically, the type of magic fueled by human souls and emotions. If your world has such magic, you may well notice a familiar text among the titles.

Know thy enemy and so forth.

Still, this sort of thing isn’t pleasant and she’s not altogether certain that she wants others reading her thoughts on the subject, so she’s fallen back into the old habit of taking notes in Quenya using the Tengwar script.

Of course, every so often she stops and sets the books aside. The subject matter is disturbing and she finds that she can’t delve too deeply for too long. Approach? Question her about her motives? Ask about the strange writing? All of the above?]

They do and they are most secretive about it. It is something of a miracle I know what little I do.

[She frowns at the mention of Goblins.] We do not have merpeople, to my knowledge, but Goblins in my world use the Black Speech, as do all the servants of Mordor. I do not know it, nor do I wish to.

Then you may count yourself fortunate. [Goblins still fall under the "kill on sight" category for her. Right there with orcs and trolls.] They are not pleasant creatures, to say the least.

It's amazing how worlds can have the same creature, but they are so different.

It is, truly. Most elves I have met here are quite different from those of my world.

Would it? You have said their lot is not a kind a one, I know, but that is the extent of my knowledge, I fear.

It depends on the house-elf. Kreacher used to be horrible and bitter, but when Harry showed him kindness he became much more pleasant. And Dobby was the bravest house-elf I've ever encountered.

Ah, you misunderstand. I speak of their lot in life. You lead me to believe they were at some disadvantage in your society.

That's largely true, which is why meeting you would be so beneficial. They don't really listen if I try to help, but if they hear it from a dignified elf such as you I'm sure they'd understand.

But of course it also has to do with how the wizards treat them. As I said, Kreacher is much better after being shown kindness.
