I'm sure everyone has noticed the new journals by now. Seems like we'll have a clean slate for this new year. I can't help wondering if this is a good or bad thing.

[River hums softly in thought for a few moments before resuming with her entry]

I have some important news to share. It has to do with the Doctor and I, but since I haven't yet gotten around to telling said news to my own parents, I'll settle for this.

The Doctor and I will be renewing our vows. That's right! There's going to be a wedding, preferably in the spring. When the Doctor went through his latest 'update' it seems he now recalls our wedding. The initial event was hurried because of circumstances beyond our control, so we're going to renew our vows and go through all the bells and whistles this time.

You should come see the ring he gave me. Much better then the simple hand fasting we had before with his bow tie.

Do you have any ideas as to when it will be?

A handfasting with a bow tie? That sounds as if there's a story behind it.

I'm hoping in the spring. Early April, perhaps?

Well time was collapsing around us and there really wasn't time for much else. I think it was a Gallifreyan ritual, not unlike the hand fasting rituals in early Earth cultures.

That man, I had to collapse all of time just to show him he was loved. By so many, but most of all by me. He's a stubborn one.

I'll keep it free.

Oh, he certainly is that. [ She's seen it herself, more from him than from his other self too ] I'm glad that he remembers it.

As am I. It puts us almost on the same page. Not quite, but close enough.

Always. I've been married to him for quite awhile now. He's only just lived through the wedding. Lots more spoilers to come. I'd hardly be River Song without my spoilers.

Then it may seem that he has quite the future ahead, and here both of you do - on even footing.

Here and now, it's where I want to focus. You were right when you said we could live out a better life here, while our time lines are finally held in one direction.

Seems this Castle is a blessing in disguise, in some cases.

More fair, in any case.
