The Carnival! (DAY ONE)

[Around 11:00am, the rides and vendors and stands suddenly appear, bustling with sounds and movements as the carnival spins to life. Throughout the day, all kinds of foods, rides, and games are available, but around the carnival signs are posted about a raffle that evening, with the items listed. Wait, did that belong to you? Well now it's up for raffle! Come buy tickets from any of the ghosts with said tickets slung across their shoulders like a sash.]

(ooc: There will be one section for the actual raffle - an ooc post will be up in a couple moments to claim the items- but other than that, go wild!)

[Frenetic Cloud is frenetic, looking around (but the raffle) for certain huge sword that was stolen from him. He seems at edge and quite cranky for someone who should be tasting every single food possible and playing at all the games...

[Reno was walking along with a beer and some food monstrosity that could probably give cancer and heart attacks to the weak. He doesn't seem to mind the carnival. It's like a less annoying verison of the Gold Saucer]

[Exceeeept then he sees Cloud and remembers the Buster Sword. Whoops he must have found out, time to try to evade the guy's path!]

[Approaches, scans from head to toe... It's more than obvious that he's not hiding his sword in some pocket or something.

[....well this sure is awkward. He'll try hold up his food that's on a stick that is some meat deep fried in a stick of butter then covered in sauces..........and bacon]

Can I? [Let's go with that because admitting he got the Buster stolen is very embarrassing... Plus he might be hungry.]

[Martel's actually looking for him, so when she sees him, she pushes towards him through the crowd and catches up with him.] Hey, you're Cloud, right?

[Oh? His annoyed semblance changes to a rather surprised one when he turns to see who is calling him.]

[She stops in front of him, and tilts her head.] ...Cloud, right?

[Nod, nod, he's so confused, please excuse him.]

[But she seems nice...]

Sorry, I'm Martel Yggdrasill. [She smiles at him, but she has to tell him something before anything.]

Your Buster Sword is at the raffle. You might want to get over there and buy a bunch of tickets before they raffle it off.

My... [What in the world?! His eyes widen in when he hears of his sword and then he realizes she said something about a raffle...

A raffle! He's gotta hurry then! Off he goes!]

[Wait, wait! Hold on a minute! He returns! Not that he was really gone.]

[She's trying very hard not to laugh at him.] That it's yours? Well, yours is the most worn one out of the three of them here, isn't it?

[Girls always do... he wouldn't mind much. Though he quite didn't meant that, it works.]

Ah, Excuse me. [Then, he gets a look at the other.] Well, hello Cloud.

[He has a few raffle tickets stashed away in his pocket as well- how could he not, with that Buster up there?]

[Ow! Big, tall, bulky--Oh it's this guy...]

Hey... [He can't see the tickets in his pockets, but he can see is the Buster in the other's back. Insult to injury.]

[Cloud's sword up on the prize rack is good incentive to never go anywhere without it.]

Rough day?

[Hey dude! It was on his back when it went missing!]

[Because seriously, even he can tell you look a bit stressed, Cloud. And it's just in his nature to help with these things...]

I've picked up some tickets, I'll let you know if I get lucky.

[If Angeal wanted to surprise him, well... he certainly did.]

You... [A tilt of head.] Why?

[A bit of a smile, but not one he directs at Cloud. He is watching one of the nearby rides.]

Well if it was mine, I would not want it in someone else's hands. It has to much meaning behind it.
