The Carnival! (DAY ONE)

[Around 11:00am, the rides and vendors and stands suddenly appear, bustling with sounds and movements as the carnival spins to life. Throughout the day, all kinds of foods, rides, and games are available, but around the carnival signs are posted about a raffle that evening, with the items listed. Wait, did that belong to you? Well now it's up for raffle! Come buy tickets from any of the ghosts with said tickets slung across their shoulders like a sash.]

(ooc: There will be one section for the actual raffle - an ooc post will be up in a couple moments to claim the items- but other than that, go wild!)

Ah, Excuse me. [Then, he gets a look at the other.] Well, hello Cloud.

[He has a few raffle tickets stashed away in his pocket as well- how could he not, with that Buster up there?]

[shrugs_a_lot]

[Ow! Big, tall, bulky--Oh it's this guy...]

Hey... [He can't see the tickets in his pockets, but he can see is the Buster in the other's back. Insult to injury.]

[mentors]

[Cloud's sword up on the prize rack is good incentive to never go anywhere without it.]

Rough day?

[shrugs_a_lot]

[Hey dude! It was on his back when it went missing!]

You have no idea.

[mentors]

I had a feeling.

[Because seriously, even he can tell you look a bit stressed, Cloud. And it's just in his nature to help with these things...]

I've picked up some tickets, I'll let you know if I get lucky.

[shrugs_a_lot]

[If Angeal wanted to surprise him, well... he certainly did.]

You... [A tilt of head.] Why?

[mentors]

[A bit of a smile, but not one he directs at Cloud. He is watching one of the nearby rides.]

Well if it was mine, I would not want it in someone else's hands. It has to much meaning behind it.

[shrugs_a_lot]

[Stares for a moment before giving him a nod.]

[mentors]

[He just smiles at that.]

Up to anything else, besides that?

[shrugs_a_lot]

Haven't thought about it. What about you?

[mentors]

Just taking in the sights, trying new things.

[Not the rides, of course, but the food- It did quite range from good to awkward.]

Funny how it just came out of nowhere, hm?

[shrugs_a_lot]

[Shrugs.] Not so much, things considering.

[mentors]

It is a normal occurrence, then?

[shrugs_a_lot]

[Shrugs.]

Beats me, but since it's a magic castle and stuff... [Is it him or is this being a little awkward...]
