[London always liked the idea of writing in a diary, and the fact that she now has a diary that everyone can read intrigues her. ((Be warned: London is a terrible speller.))

Deer everybudy,

It's me, London Tipton! This is a pretty pen. But I still dont no why its diskised as a fether.

So, I've bin around this palice and so far, it's really weird. Creepy stuf happens, and there are no taxees to take me to the city for shopping. I aktualy have to wok! :( But on the brite side, the closets give me stuf so I dont have to shop! Yay mee! But that kind of takes the fun out of shopping doesnt it?

Anyways, what do u guys do around here for fun? There are so many of u here, and I feel like I've only met like [[there's a pause in the writing as she takes time to count on her fingers]] five peeple. Thats like, 20% of u! Wat do u guys do for fun besidze riting in jernals and stuf?

So, open up yur majic book thingies and spil! Speshully other rich peeple. That way, we can mock the poor. Yay us! Heehee!

I do not believe thou truly doth detest the poor, 'though thy statement did lead me to believe such of thee.

[London actually did her best to pay really close attention to that.]

I dont have a seerius problum with poor peeple. Its just that its fun to buy more stuf then they cood! And well, sumtimez I feel liek they have more than me in some ways.

In what ways do they have more than thee?

Well, they have to take taxees insted of limozeens, but i wish i had closer frends and famly liek they do.

Dont tell anywon, tho.

I myself have made many more friends here than would have been possible back home. Perhaps thou wilt have the same luck?

Maybe! Thats why I made this jernal entry. But evrywon seems turnd off by it.

Nopony wisheth to be mocked, especially by a complete stranger. Such jests are best reserved 'tween good friends who doth understand that there is no true enmity or scorn in such words.

[London just tilts her head. It's probably to her benefit that she decided not to mention that she wasn't really kidding.]

[yup. That's a good thing to not mention.]

Would such a thing truly matter? Thou dost not have thy riches here with thee and those who are not as fortunate as thee will take offense at what they see as discrimination.

I tawk to poor peeple, too!

Yes; thou hast stated as much. However, the point I am attempting to convey is that there is no need to differentiate 'tween rich and poor here. Few, if any, have brought their jewels or coins or whatever manner of currency they are accustomed to.

If naught else, we are no longer divided by the issue of material worth thanks to the equalizing nature of our arrival - and our stay - here.

Hm. I gess yur rite. I should just ask peple who look rich if they are, and just not menchen it to evrywon else!
