 Wow, I guess I had some really strange dreams while everyone was asleep.  It's interesting what kinds of things the mind comes up with, isn't it?

Because of what had been revealed in his dreams he absolutely had to convince everyone who had entered his dreams that there had been no truth in them. And he could not admit to having seen any other dreams, because ha had arrived in them as his teenage self.

All of which meant that he had to come off in this conversation as more cold and callous than he actually was.]

None of them were real, right? Isn't it better that it was something like this than any of that happening in reality?

Memories are real enough, are they not? Even the sweetest memory could be twisted and warped by the malevolence of a nightmare. Therefore, imagine how gruesome a shameful past could be for those who wished to bury such memories from all to see.

And I didn't see anyone else's dreams, so I can't say anything about that.
