So didn't this place used to have, like, ten more floors? What ever happened to those?
[Alex is currently in the dining room, with her feet kicked up on the table, a fashion magazine open in her lap, and a bag of marshmallows in front of her. Feel free to chastise her for getting sneaker germs everywhere - or for eating her weight in sugar this close to midnight.]
I leave you guys alone for, like, three months and you totally rearrange the place. Typical.
[A short pause, and then a thoughtful hum.]
Huh, I guess this week makes a year since I got dropped off here for the first time. Kind of feels like a lot longer with that whole Paris crap. [Her voice raises, like she's trying to be overheard.] Anytime you want to toss me back to New York, that'd be great.
((ooc: open post!))

no subject
And I mean, yeah, if you count sleeping on a park bench every night a "vacation".
no subject
Mmm. Was it a nice bench at least?

[Pause.]
Hm. At least there aren't as many stairs to walk up, now that I actually have to take them.

The castle was demolished?
no subject
No, it just rearranged all the floors and crap. Took a way a ton of towers. Still looks the same from the outside, though.

Magic.

I shouldn't have asked.

[He then changes his tones as he continues.] Welcome back. I bet it's hardly a pleasant one though.

[A sardonic snort.]
Thanks.

[She gestures with her hands, indicating something very tall.]
Like, I don't know - twenty or something.
[Of course, she never took the elevator or the stairs, so her judgement is a bit inaccurate.]
