It's the only place that is, so far, tolerable.

It reminds me of home. It's not quite exact, mind you, but it's close.

So far? No. However, I don't intend to quit until I've read just about every book here.

[He eyes that stack of books]

And how fast can you consume information?

Fast.

It helps if I take a picture of each page and save it, so I can read everything more thoroughly later.

It is. Being half machine has its perks.

I'm sure.

Perhaps I should start a business. Graft cyborg parts onto people in exchange for... well, money isn't exactly a problem.

Favors, maybe?

A potentially rewarding business plan.

Mmm, depends if I get any takers.

It might be worth it to try. It would be interesting to watch the after-effects in any case.

Well, with your talents, it would be much the same as having a built-in control switch on people.

True. They'd have to be easily removed, however, should they ever need to explore the Dead Zone.

Assuming they're vital enough to their continued health and mobility.

Indeed. At the very least, they'd have to not be a burden when inactive.

Non-essential upgrades would be best. Enhancements to sight would be difficult without blinding them without their use.

It would take some research.

And some experimenting.
