Sounds about right. How long ago was that?

[squirrelhunter]

[And an almost-sullen look... He counts it as karma, but he doesn't have to like it.]

Few weeks ago. Doc said it should be nearly fixed, but then we came here.

[ino]

[she'll just gesture for him to come closer to the counter, so she can take a look at it. even if she doesn't care for him, if something were to happen while they were here, it's important that everyone is in top shape ... just in case]

[squirrelhunter]

[And Daryl's going to just look at her suspiciously...

...But head on closer anyway. She wouldn't hurt an injured guy, right?]

[ino]

[nah, not unless he was being a jerk! but he's not, so she'll move out from behind the counter to touch a hand to his shoulder, examining in much the same way she did to katniss. it might feel a bit strange after a moment, given she's finishing up the healing process a lot faster than it would happen naturally]

[squirrelhunter]

[And he flinches slightly when she touches the sensitive area, but, soon relaxes a bit as the bone heals.

Daryl's no stranger to magic healing, but it still feels weird when you're not used to it.

He looks up at Ino, frowning slightly.]

Thanks.

[ino]

Sure. [she'll withdraw a hand, the glow fading away] Not like it's a tough fix, anyways.

[squirrelhunter]

[He's just going to test the movement of his arm and shoulder, content that it's actually fixed.]

How'd you do that, anyway?

[ino]

It's not that uncommon of a skill, here. [she flexes her hand for a moment, before putting both her hands on her hips] I can concentrate my own energy to regenerate cells quickly, and control exactly how they regenerate.

[squirrelhunter]

Can other people learn that?

[Because that stuff's useful.]

[ino]

Depends on the person. It takes years and years to learn even if you start from childhood like I did. If you start as an adult, you may never get the hang of even the basics, let alone more concentrated stuff like healing.

[squirrelhunter]

That's a damn shame. Could use more folk around that can do that shit.

[ino]

You're telling me ... [a sigh]

[squirrelhunter]

We got some pretty decent doctors, I heard, maybe that's a plus.

[He eyes Ino.]

So what other tricks ya got?

[ino]

A doctor and a healer are two different things, though.

[she looks amused at the second question] I'm a ninja, we don't typically tell everyone all of our "tricks".

[squirrelhunter]

Y'don't seem the ninja type.
