[It's Tuesday, Paradisa, and that means two things: the first is that The Four Seasons Room is in beach mode, and the second is that Mistress's dulcet tones are ringing through the journal. She seems genuinely pleased.]

This beach is marvelous. We don't have shores like this in my kingdom, where everything is bright and warm and pleasant. Even if one journeys to the ocean itself, the waters are rough and the beaches are rocky. Tell me, subjects, are places like this common in other worlds? Do people really live there?

Oh, and do feel free to join me here!

[Which is something you may or may not actually want. Because what does a woman whose normal attire consists of a string bikini wear to the beach?

The answer is nothing but some very artfully applied sand and shells. She has to match the room, of course.]

So far? No. I'm fairly sure he's got a way to make sure he has food too, wherever he is.

Well, then you needn't worry about him dying. So what's to be upset about? Yes, he threw a public tantrum and told the world just how awful he thinks you are, but I highly doubt anyone will hold his little hissy fit against you.

You're placing too much importance on what other people think of you. If they ignored you before, they'll ignore you again. And really, do you want to hear the opinions of people who take childish squalling as fact?

Think I'm endangering people. I'm not. Maine isn't a threat any more than a number of other armed residents.

Well, that would just be silly. I'm all for imprisonment and torture, and even I'd have to object to that reason.

Now. You've gotten all of this off your chest. So what do you plan to do about it? And don't say that you're going to just sit around and continue to pout, that's unacceptable.

Right now? No idea.

Well, I'm assuming others are on your side. York probably wouldn't have needed to throw a fit if everyone else was agreeing with him. Which means you're hardly alone, and there must be others willing to defend you. At the very least, you must have Maine, right?

Which means that the appropriate answer is to say "fuck York", and let him crawl back on his own. But I do have some more fun and creative ideas, if you're feeling vindictive.

Pretty sure Carolina is. Maine is being moody over this mess.

And I think I'm going with the first. I don't really think it's worth vindictive.

Can you blame Maine for moodiness? He's suddenly in the thick of it for things that are all wholly out of his control. Who's Carolina?

Anyway, if only one of the group is in defiance, then you're getting along fine. I mean, I suppose you could always kill him and get back to 100%, but that's hardly necessary here. [She's joking. Mostly.]
