[It's Tuesday, Paradisa, and that means two things: the first is that The Four Seasons Room is in beach mode, and the second is that Mistress's dulcet tones are ringing through the journal. She seems genuinely pleased.]

This beach is marvelous. We don't have shores like this in my kingdom, where everything is bright and warm and pleasant. Even if one journeys to the ocean itself, the waters are rough and the beaches are rocky. Tell me, subjects, are places like this common in other worlds? Do people really live there?

Oh, and do feel free to join me here!

[Which is something you may or may not actually want. Because what does a woman whose normal attire consists of a string bikini wear to the beach?

The answer is nothing but some very artfully applied sand and shells. She has to match the room, of course.]

[Crowley enjoys going to the beach room to lounge about anyway. Still in his suit, of course, but that's besides the point. Mistress' attire gets an arched eyebrow before he goes back to sipping his wine]

Well, the Southern tends to be warmer, so you get warmer beaches.

Are they all this beautiful?

Nah, nothing quite compares to the synthetic beauty Paradisa manages.

Why do you think this room is here?

To give us a little taste of Paradise, I expect. On Mondays and Fridays, it's full of snow.

It's definitely common in some worlds. Make great vacation spots.

And be careful there. I got locked in there for a few days once.

Ooh, what was here when it wasn't a beach or snow?

It actually stayed a beach while I was in there. Not exactly fond of being locked up like that, but it could have been worse. Wishes work in there, so we didn't starve. And plenty of alcohol.

Well, it sounds like a wonderful little reprieve, compared to what it could have been. But I think you like complaining, Washington.

[She sounds entertained.]

But you voluntarily lock yourself into that silly armor.

Hellboy is there, is the point. Since walking around outside means that he has to endure snow and the cold and other stupid things, he is just walking around on the beach thinking, like you do.

Well he was, until he notices this lady who's like naked and um hm yes ok turning on his heel and walking ... the other way now oh my god why doesn't anyone in this joint know what modesty is]

[Well, that's a being that can get Mistress to rise out of the sand. Literally. She was lying on the sand, sunning herself.

AND SUDDENLY, she is very close to Hellboy, just steps behind him.]

Where are you going?

[SCREAM

Hellboy stops walking and turns around, though he looks supremely uncomfortable. And. is kind of averting his gaze, there.]

I'm just taking a walk. I didn't mean to interrupt whatever it is you're doing.

[Oh, come on, Red. Surely you've seen naked ladies! Old-style goddesses aren't exactly known for their burqas.]

Oh, you're not interrupting me. I love to meet new people.

[Yeah, and he doesn't like that either! Hecate's huge, scaly lizard boobs. Not fun. Later they are huge, scaly iron boobs -- it's not much better.]

Well ... this is a good place to do it. The magic kidnapping castle, I mean.

[Okay, well... at least Mistress has nice boobs. Regular human boobs. The kind of boobs Hellboy presumably likes.]

[You know who likes the beach? This blonde. So, here have Harmony on her way into the Sun Room on the beach day, pleasantly prepared for fun in the sun. She's wearing the cutest bikini she could find that wasn't pink. She's trying to wean herself off of pink.]

Amidst all the crappy weather, this is always a nice change.

[Oh, but why, Harmony? You look so cute in pink!

Mistress looks up from a frou-frou drink with an umbrella garnish when she hears a new voice.]

Why yes, it is. It makes one feel like the Snow Queen never woke up at all.

The Snow Queen? [Harmony glances to the woman.]

She sounds like she belongs in a storybook.

Tales have been written about her, though they rarely end well. She's quite real, though.

Why don't they end well? She's a queen, I would think she'd be happy.

I'd say she has a rather hard go of it, being so cold. I've been told she's always mortified when someone's bits go breaking off or sticking to her.
