This mark and attached notice are here to alert you to great news. The news, of course, is that your journals are now the property of Mistress. She will let you look after them for the time being, as a sign of her good will. She's a very generous dictatress, you know.

I've never met her, so I really haven't had a chance to disobey her. But, it's not your fault she was alone here--if the castle brought you here after her.

Well of course it's my fault - what sort of friend would I be if I let a large abducting castle get in the way of our mayhem?

I'm sure there's a way that I just haven't thought of yet! Besides, the Mistress is never at fault for anything, you know. That's the number one rule in negotiations with her - well, that and being open-minded about the whole orgy thing. You'd be surprised how many people are surprised by that!

Oh? Seems interesting. I suppose I should visit this pool soon! [And Sandoval seems interested in drawing on the rectangle now, making it more like a box and giving it some depth.]

Unless the castle sent you an invitation--which I doubt, since no one else got any--neither one of you is at fault! You can't foresee the actions of an enemy that doesn't even exist on your world. can you?

[She stops suddenly.]

You don't understand, Sheena. It's my job to agree with everything she says. And honestly, as her friend, should that matter? But that's neither here nor there; the point is, we're both here now.

Mistress is very fond of sex, you see - as everyone should be! - and of watching, orgies, and the like. Know that, and everything usually falls into place when negotiating with her. Needless to say, her parties are always a lot of fun!

Wouldn't it ice over in winter, though? [And he's going to draw a little fishy swimming in it. Poor little fish. :( ]
